This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

Trick or Treat, maskers?

For those who are not fans of the traditional wet sheet masks, we have Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask 1 mask. Used on clean dry skin, this mask has two sets of ear loops, one at the sides of the sheet and one coming from the part meant to cover your chin, presumably for that lifting effect.

This is a throwback mask for me, having used it here around the time CT launched this mask. This time around it feels less tight all around and I wonder if the brand redesigned it to be roomier. Similar to my feelings back then, I'm not sure whether this mask does anything from a skincare perspective, but it is practical - it can double up as a backup Halloween costume. I'll be ready for this year's trick-or-treaters, but will they be ready for me?

@lmaster, it’s a classic. 🎥 I realized that there’s probably a generation that has never seen it. What a shame! It’s got some creepy moments that still give me the heebie jeebies  when I think about it or see it, but it is definitely a film to see.

Holy cow @itsfi , this is scary looking😲.  I don’t think it’s a great idea for the consumer to wonder if it’s really doing anything.  But CT would have put something in it that’s good, wouldn’t she??

@Cissy63, the product page says that the mask inlcudes "vitamins, floral extracts, peptides, oils and butters" which makes me think it's intended for keeping skin hydrated and moisturized as well as providing some anti-aging benefits. My skin felt soft afterwards and like there was something that transferred onto the surface of my skin, but I wouldn't say it felt hydrating or moisturized like it does after a sheet mask. 

It's not a mask that gives someone the warm fuzzies when they see you in it. 🤣 It's definitely got that Hannibel Lecter, Jason, Freddy horror movie vibe to it.

@itsfi  Perfect Halloween mask!!! I haven’t tried this one. But if you don’t think it has any skincare benefits but plus side it looks cool!! Did you get many trick or treaters?

@ather , I don’t really see any results from using this mask. My skin feels soft afterwards but that’s about it. It’s good but I can get a similar result with other masks, including (less expensive) traditional sheet masks. I am, however, a fan of the effect it has on others during Halloween. 😆

Hahaha! It’s both odd and fascinating how they designed the nose holes @heartsmyface! It makes it extra creepy, I think. There’s a slit and small holes below the nostrils and then these cutouts no where near where I breathe. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤪

@itsfi  Haha! Literally almost every time I have a mask on, my husband says "hello, Clarice" to me! Sometimes he says, "it puts the lotion on it's skin" 🤣
Too bad the results aren't impressive, but at least it's got the entertainment factor going for it 😂

This one is all about the chuckles, that’s for sure. Thankfully this version feels more comfortable than the original one - with the s version, I remember wondering if my mouth was going to stay smooshed and puckered up like that after I removed the mask. 😂  This and the stoned zebra mask still take the prize for most amusing sheet masks. The Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare DRx SpectraLite™ FaceWare Pro makes for an impressive look too. 😝

Oh goodness, how could I forget about the 23 Years Old cocoon masks @Shosh85? Truly comical - not a dud, peeps, they meant to manufacture a mask that looks like it doesn't let you breathe!! Eeek! If I'm remembering right, that your first mask on here, wasn't it?! 

Oooh, those Biore nose strips are good. They remain the best nose strips around, in my opinion, at least. That stuff is not joking around about decongesting the pores and getting rid of blackheads.-
