This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

Oh goodness, how could I forget about the 23 Years Old cocoon masks @Shosh85? Truly comical - not a dud, peeps, they meant to manufacture a mask that looks like it doesn't let you breathe!! Eeek! If I'm remembering right, that your first mask on here, wasn't it?! 

Oooh, those Biore nose strips are good. They remain the best nose strips around, in my opinion, at least. That stuff is not joking around about decongesting the pores and getting rid of blackheads.-

Lmao @itsfi ! Good to hear it’s a bit roomier, I do remember it hurt my ears a lot. 

i was torn on whether this mask did anything too. I also found the scent a bit overwhelming

@Kim888, there must have been a redesign because I didn't pick up any scent from this mask. Much more comfortable around the ears too, this time around. Yeah, I'm not convinced on this as part of a regular skincare regimen, but it makes for a good laugh and I'm down for that! 😂

@itsfi that is good! at least they are usually pretty good at address scent concerns. they changed the formula on that loose powder i remember too after everyone said it smelled like crayons

Oh gosh, I remember the comments about the crayon-smelling powder @Kim888! I had contemplated picking up the powder and then there were all these reviews about the smell and I thought, 'nope, not even going to give it a try.' I like that they've reformulated their products so that added fragrance is removed or that it toned down. Do you know whether their clay mask was part of that reformulation?

This weeks theme is one of my favorites!

Tried out this Salmon egg extract mask for a second time and I still love it! 👌

Foreverskin Salmon Whitening Mask

Material:

Thin-leaning-medium cotton

Serum:

Creamy/milky

Scent:

Sort of a mix of sweet/fruity and fresh & clean.

Fit:

The fit was almost perfect and was just slightly too long at the chin.

Wear Time:

35 minutes

Tack:

Very light, went away after about 15 minutes

Results:

My face looked a little brighter, had a nice glow and felt bouncy and hydrated.

Repurchase?

I really loved this one and will definitely continue repurchase!

I've tried a couple others from this line but this one is my favorite so far!

@Shosh85  Ha, i used to use these fish oil supplement capsules on my skin and they worked wonderfully but they smelled like fish for about five minutes.  The benefits outweighed the nasty scent so I tolerated it. 😄

@Shosh85  You always pick the most interesting skincare ingredients. This one is particularly different. Had I only known about this years ago when my grandfathers salmon farm was still running. I could have millions of eggs 🤣

Hey there maskers! PTR has a mini masking set, which is not out of the ordinary for the brand. I noticed though that this year's set includes a mask I have not yet seen. Peter Thomas Roth Masking Minis 5-Piece Mask Kit Here's some info from the product page:

The new addition, the purple one, is said to contain "2% PTR Active Purple™ Fermented Brew: A blend of potent antioxidants that help improve the look of aging."

I'm not planning on picking up the set (gotta work my way through some already open wash off masks) but if someone does purchase this set, I'd love to know your thoughts on the new purple mask. In the meantime, I shall keep my eyes out for it as a future promo gwp.

I went to PTR direct website hoping to find more information on the active purple mask @itsfi . I had no luck. Like you I am hoping for a deluxe sample or packet . It does sound interesting.

Ahhh, thank you @quspork! Interesting set of primary ingredients; I’ve heard of all (and used products containing each of them) except purple tea. That sounds like something to put on my list of things to research. 📝
