What foundation would you recommend for sensitive skin? I break out when I use certain foundations, I really want to try Rhiannas new foundation but nervous will break out. What's your input?

RE: Sensitive Skin- Foundation

I have really sensitive skin, a while ago I tried the tarte amazionan tinted moisterizer. I realized later on that this was causing breakouts and a lot of redness all over my face. It was almost like an allergic reaction. I have also had problems with makeup forever, all their products break me out. Now I have been using the Nars all day luminous foundation and I haven't had any problems what so ever !!! For a tinted moisturizer I use the bare minerals complexion rescue and it is amazing . I was considering trying the hour glass foundation... has anyone tried ??

Unless you're typically oily, I wouldn't suggest Fenty Beauty foundation. It's definitely gentle, but not suited for dry skin. Have you tried any Clinique or Tarte foundations? These brands are great for skin sensitivity.

Re: Sensitive Skin- Foundation

I use Hourglass' immaculate liquid powder foundation which has been my holy grail. This has taken significantly reduced my breakouts and is clearing up my skin as well. Every other foundation I've tried makes me break out the same day I put it on my skin.

Re: Sensitive Skin- Foundation

I have lots of skin sensitivities so I have hard time finding the right foundation right now I have been using a powder foundation that does great on my skin.   Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Power Foundation.   Stay away from anything that has fragrance or essential oils.   Oil is fine but essential oils are chemicals and are usually to difficult for sensitive skin to handle.

Urban Decay and Tarte (Amazonian Clay) and Bare Minerals are usually safe.

Cover FX is designed for sensitive skin.  Bare Minerals is also great for sensitive skin.  Right now I'm using the Hourglass Vanish stick and not having any issues with it.  I've also been able to use Born this way, although it's not my favorite.
