A lot of us got an email for the FFS. What's everyone getting?
I wanted to get the UD back talk palette but it's already OOS. The night owls always get the worm!
For my first round I got the things I thought would sell out first. Interesting to note that if anyone was planning on buying the Living Proof shampoo/conditioner from Ulta on Saturday, this living proof set is a better deal.
PS if you didn't get a code I think you can walk in to a Sephora and ask a greeter if they will hook you up with the discount .they may not but it is worth a try!
UPDATE: A universal barcode has been released for in-store purchases only:
I am trying to be good and I only have these items in my bag so far
SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask
OLAPLEX - Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3
I am on the fence about a straightening brush, so if anyone has experience with them I would appreciate any inputs!
Yup I bought a similar set during the April sale and LOVE it. The sets a great deal and other then the brush (which I love) I also like the dry shampoo and texture spray. I have wavy, curly hair and this really smooths everything out, just make sure you brush out any tangles first. I shared (a rather embaressing) before and after, you can check it out - https://community.sephora.com/t5/Trending-Now/April-Favorites/m-p/3941765/highlight/true#M55187
I purchased the AMIKA - Polished Perfection Straightening Brushllast year during the Nov sale - I really love it! I have wavy/curly hair that is very textured and I’m very bad at blow drying my hair. Essentially, I let my hair air dry then use this tool and it looks like a blowout. Super fast and efficient without making your hair look flat like a straightener. I believe @Aaliaa has purchased this as well and can maybe add details of her experience
@scott1201 @Aaliaa I wish Sephora could y'all a cut of my purchase! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with me, it sounds like something I need. I have a straightening iron and a curling wand, but I'm not digging how limp my hair looks when I use the iron and I hate blow drying my hair.
@Cyncynn @bakeamuffin olapex is blowing up on the boards this morning .one user is posting repeatedly about olapex. I thought it might be a shill acct but you can vouch for it?
@itscarin I have not seem anything in the boards TBH, it would have definitely being a turn of for me. I hate when people do that - looks dodgy!
I've seen some reliable community members talking about it and it's been on my list for a while.
Oh I dislike when users do that because it makes both them and the product look shady @itscarin.
I genuinely love OLAPLEX - Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3for repairing hair, I’ve been using it since it became available on Sephora and it’s helped to strengthen my hair. I also notice that it’s less frizzy with regular use, feels softer, and is more manageable. I haven’t tried the shampoo and conditioner but I know @itsfi has ☺️
@bakeamuffin Thanks!
How often do you use it?Every other wash?
I like to use it once a week @Cyncynn, I read that Olaplex recommends using it a few times a week for a very damaged hair, or once a week for damaged hair / to maintain hair health. Leave it on for a minimum of 30 minutes before Shampooing and conditioning 🙂
These look like solid choices @Cyncynn! The OLAPLEX - Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3is incredible!
I haven’t tried the SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Maskbut it looks amazing and I know others in the Mask of the Week Challenge thread have really liked this one so I think it’d be a great sale purchase ☺️
So organized on this one, though I haven't ordered yet.
Backup on Sexrology https://www.sephora.com/product/luxetrance-trade-lipstick-P423642?icid2=patmcgrath_lip_productcarous... . Just loaned mine to my daughter and will never see it back.
Drunk Elephant C, and I don't use them exclusively but like this product https://www.sephora.com/product/c-firma-day-serum-P400259?icid2=drunkelephant_bestsellers_us_product...

Kopari is another favorite. The scrub! https://www.sephora.com/product/coconut-crush-scrub-P413967?icid2=skugrid:p413967:product
These are my current can't live without obsessions. I probably shouldn't post before i buy (um, sold out) but I'm posting anyway.
I grabbed the TOO FACED - Sugar Peach Wet and Dry Face & Eye Palette - Peaches and Cream Collectionand the Scouted by Sephora set. I'm toying with the idea of getting a few more things, if I can get another code. Including DR. JART+ - Cicapair™ Friends Skin Soothers, HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4, and SK-II Facial Treatment Sheet Masks 10 masks / pack.
I really want to try out a new cleanser with my coupon. Can anyone give me some feedback on any of these? KORRES - Wild Rose Foaming Cream Cleanser, the Youth To The People Superfood Hydrating Gentle Antioxidant Refillable Cleanser 8 oz / 237 mlOLEHENRIKSEN - Face the Truth™ Gel Cleanser?
I bought the YTTP when it was came out and really enjoyed it. It’s gentle but does the job. Doesn’t sting my eyes when I’m lazy and get it in my eyes. It has a light fresh scent and light lather. I used it as a second or morning cleanse so I can’t speak to how well it removes makeup.
@CookieGirl1 I like the OH in the summer months when my skin is more oily. But I don’t go near it come October. I have sensitive skin that is prone to extreme dryness during autumn and winter and this OH cleanser dries out my skin big time.
If you have oily skin right now, it’s definitely a great cleanser, though 👍
I'm using YTTP right now and really like it. It removes all of my make up, including my Charoltte Tilbury Mascara - if I wear my Stila Glitter and Glow I never have left over glitter randomly om my skin yet it doesnt upset the moisture balance of my skin. I never have that dry, tight feeling after.
I have only tried DS for the OH and Korres. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Korres but I should have known better because I'm not a fan of Roses. I'm using the OH now. I honestly don't feel like I can give proper review because my skin dry lately and I can't pinpoint the cause. It does have nice scent. I have heard really good things about the YTTP but I haven't tried it yet.
Out of these three I’d go for YTTP. I really liked this cleanser, it has a light fruity scent that reminds me of Granny Smith apples ☺️The ingredients are awesome and it’s comfortably cleanses the skin. I also love that it’s in a recyclable glass container with a pump, super easy to use.
Thanks for the review @bakeamuffin. I have a few DS of this cleanser that I think I need to pull out.
Def get out those DSs @Lazybeautybeast - YTTP is a good cleanser, but I had difficulty getting all of my makeup off with it. The lather kind of fizzled out on me, and I had to do a second cleanse. I may just be really picky about lather tho, LOL
@CookieGirl1@ Of the three, I'd lean towards the olehenriksen, but it can be drying. Good moisturizer after is essential
