I recently re-subscribed to the Play box after about a year and a half off.  October will be my first box, and based on the email preview I received, I am going to be disappointed.  I know they cannot tailor the box to each person, but I wish there was somewhere in the profile to list products NOT to send.  I don't use liquid eyeliner, I don't really like liquid lipstick, and I am allergic to something in Caudalie products.  So almost my entire first box will be given away.

I've just started receiving Play boxes again, after first receiving them in 2015. I'm not sure what to think yet?

I've read in (recent) prior month's comments that people are sick of receiving setting spray - which this month's box contains...

Also, I'm receiving Make Up Forever color: Y205. That's not my color? Is this common?   

I am pleased about the pore refiner primer. I wanted to get this as a sample while placing an order last week, but it was, "out of stock". Now, I see why.

I usually like at least a couple things in the box but this is the worst box I’ve ever gotten! 2 foundations (one that is NO WHERE near my complexion) 2 primers and a cleanser I’ve already gotten twice and disliked. I’m so annoyed with this box!

we must have received the same box. I got two primers and two foundations. I don't normally complain, because it's only a $10 box. but the two foundation colors I received, are know were close to my complexion. and why send me two primers.

I didn't hate my box, but I was also not pleased with it. I was mostly annoyed because I got TWO of the exact same products that I had already received in previous boxes! I also do not like the new bag. I always looked forward to a cute newly designed pouch but I don't enjoy getting the same ziplock bag every month... PLEASE GO BACK TO THE CUTE OLD DRAWSTRING BAGS

I said the same thing!! I can recycle my own items. I’m not paying for Sephora to give me plastic to throw away.

I actuaaly applauded their switch to the recyclable plastic bag. I - and i suspect most people - throw out drawstring pouches anyway ... what can i do with them??? They are too small for storing shoes, too big for jewelry, and not leakproof for travel.

I’m considering ending my subscription, they keep sending me primers and makeup and I barely wear makeup. I wanted the skincare that I thought I was getting according to my email from Sephora. The mask, the caudalie serum, etc. my preferences clearly state I have dry skin and I keep getting products that fight oil or hide pores, made for oily skin. Tired of primers!!!!

Overall I'm fairly satisfied with my boxes-- though I've already own the coconut water cream thanks to having tried it from a previous box (I guess I have a travel size now?). I am kind of concerned by the fact that I got both sneak peek items when some people didn't get either. Sephora, you really need to work on the quality control of your boxes, that or stop revealing sneak peeks with the promise that people will get one of the two items.

My only personal dissatisfaction with this box is that I've gotten *yet ANOTHER* foundation which I cannot use. I have a colour match with ABH and Banana is not it-- I don't even have any friends who match the shade that I can offer it to. I have yet to get a foundation, concealer, or really any makeup product that matches to my skintone, and yet it's claimed that these products are matched to us. If this is accurate, we'd be getting shades that match our tones, and it seems like *everyone* got Banana, including WoC.

I really enjoy my Playboxes. I love the Primer because it makes your skin look flawless and I can't afford to purchase it all the time, so it is appreciated. I love the perfume samples because I enjoy being able to see what different scents smell like on me. I am not a mall shopper. I would like to receive a little more curly hair products. I thought the new bag last month was adorable. My grandchild love them for their keepsakes, even the boxes. All in all I am very pleased with my Playboxes and have been a customer for about 2 years 🙂

Does anyone else feel like they are getting the same items over and over?! I swear i’ve received a few items 2-3x now. For example, I received 3 boxes that had the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray. I used to love this monthly box. Now I am seriously considering leaving it behind.
