I agree with you. I have been subscribed for 6 months and this was the most disappointing box ever. Granted it is only $10 /month but one would think that having access to so many brands and products, Sephora would offer better samples. Disappointing.

I got this same box, and I LOVE almost everything in it, so excited! I could do without the fire engine red Sephora lipstick, but LOVE Farmacy and Philosophy! I really appreciated the opportunity to try the Marc Jacobs mascara, so I know how flaky it gets and that I’d never buy it!

Got my box finally yesterday #973! The only thing decent in it was the I.G.K Mistress Hydrating Balm. This was a bad one Sophra.

I received box #013 and I feel like the other boxes are "worth" more than the box I received. Other boxes also got products that were a full ounce whereas the Philosophy and Farmacy sample were pretty tiny (I am excited to try the Farmacy, but wish it were bigger). I just don't see Philosophy on the same level with some brands in other boxes such as Caudalie is all. I did love last month's box though.

I agree with the rest saying this box was underwhelming. First of all, the Philosophy sample I got was tiny. The sample was tiny EVEN compared to Birchbox's sorry sample size. I was thinking the Play Boxes were the best value but thus far three or four months in I have received a to of Red lipsticks, some amazing and well matched foundation samples in a good size, and other fun products. This box looks a lot like Birchbox with small samples, so-so products, and nothing that special. I hope this was just a fluke. Amika dry shampoos Birchbox sends me at least three times a year - no matter what I rate it. Lame. Starting to look like the rest of the competitors in the game...

yeah, I'd like to know really how they choose the box they send each person. my first box was terrible, but they got a little better every time.

I received a nude lip that should’ve went to someone with a WAY fairer skin tone. 😑 Can I take this to the store to swap it for an appropriate nude lip?

Try it with a dark brown liner. I thought the same when I received my Sephora birthday gift: the Tarte Tartiest creamy matte lip paint in Birthday Suit. It is now my favorite lip combo!

This is my second month on the Play! subscription and so far I loved the October box much more than the November box. However, to be fair, I did not like my November box so much because literally EVERY SINGLE THING in it was something I already own. (the dry shampoo, red sephora lippie, farmacy moisturizer, etc)

I was hoping to do this subscription box to get samples of new products to try out and enjoy, but I guess that was more of a coincidence than anything. 

Hope December's (my birthday month!) is better!

Not happy with my subscription at all. I'm going to cancel my subscription due to the amount of dry shampoos and tiny samples I continue to receive. The bag sucks. ipsy bags are way better. Not worth the monthly subscription at all!

I’m highly disappointed with the last two boxes. Just hate the fact that I got the worst version of November box with useless stuff. I’m subscriber for over a year now and I left a bunch of positive comments myself but this is just horrible. I’m sick and tired of dry shampoos, lipsticks that are eather red, dark brown or purple, anti-aging stuff even though I’m in my twenties and seems like we are going back to tiny little samples. The face mask I got is enough for one use only. I’m very unhappy.

It’s November and I never received October’s! I feel there grab bags... if they want us to buy send the best !!! There samples !!!! There winning by us buying? Doesn’t make sense!

I was really looking forward to getting the origins clear improvement mask and the morraccan argan oil but instead got the micro mini purity sample and dry shampoo 😕 I thought my preferences were set so I would receive the ones I wanted
