Due to some technical glitches with the original Show Me Your Nails Thread, I am starting a new thread with @vegchililover78's blessing (She says "hello," by the way!).
Please share your nail looks, nail art and manicures!
...And don't forget to check out @Beadshopgirl's Nail Stamping Thread for stamping inspiration! ❤️

@Titian06 Ooo so pretty! I really like the accent polish on your thumb and ring. 💖
Colors I like but don't wear often, part three: green 💚
Or this mani could also be known as: let's try a new (to me) brand!
I like green, but it doesn't make much of an appearance in my manis outside of a rainbow, so it's time to use up a few of these. Mineral Fusion was on GMA deals a while back for half off ($5 each), so I picked up a few to try, and lo and behold, they were almost all green lol. The brand is fairly small with only 40 shades, mostly in the pink/red/neutral category, and mostly creams, so I guess it makes sense that my overall palette from them didn't have a ton of variety, as they just don't offer much that's unique to my collection. One swatch dot wasn't enough for me to really be able to tell the difference in the three shimmery greens, so I wound up buying all three out of curiosity, and then tossed a couple of creams into the mix for a little sample of that formula.
From pinky to thumb, all Mineral Fusion:
Smoke & Mirrors: somehow dark and light all at once? I'm actually fairly fascinated by this one, it's simultaneously a soft sage type shade and a silvery forest green. Metallic formula with prominent brush strokes showing (I like that, but not everyone does). Super easy two coater.
Berry Cute: smoky purple cream. Pretty color, and the formula is ok I guess? I feel like it didn't fully self level...it's not super lumpy/bumpy, but the glare lines aren't completely smooth across the surface and I can tell it's slightly dimpled/uneven if I look closely. It's not bad, not at all, but I've used better creams. Two coats on this hand, but three coats on my other (my tremor was particularly pronounced when I did this last night, so that may have been my problem with my other hand...not 100% sure I can blame that on the polish).
Green With Envy: when I say I like greens, this shade is one of the first ones that comes to mind...it's hard to beat a rich, vivid, deep emerald shimmer in my book, and this one is gorgeous. Easy three coater. I don't think it's a particularly unique polish, but it's a good rendition of a classic jewel tone.
Secret Garden: muted spring green cream. Similar formula notes to Berry Cute, with the exception that this was a two coater on both hands.
Money Maker: another deep green shimmer, slightly lighter than Green With Envy and with a dusty overtone to it. Easy three coater...it's sheer, but not streaky or difficult.
Direct sun
Dappled shade
Indirect light
Overall thoughts on the brand: eh, mostly fine. The shimmers and metallic are nice and I have zero complaints about them. The creams fall into the middle of the road for me...not awful, but not particularly noteworthy either. Nice paddle brush built in, but the bottles are mildly annoying...they use the round ones with a large round cap, where the cap is the same width as the bottle, but the oversized cap isn't removable, so holding it might be awkward for some. (Note too that these are new bottles; they recently redid all their packaging, and you might find some of their stuff in different bottles at TJM etc.) In the future, if I were to come across a shimmer that interested me, I'd grab it, but otherwise, this brand is mostly off my radar....they're just too small to have much I'm looking for these days.
@RGbrown, I'm digging all the shades, but the Green with Envy and Money Maker are really calling to me. I love a good jewel toned emerald green. I've seen the brand every so often at TJ Maxx / Marshall's. I haven't been in either store in forever but will have to make my way over to the nail polishes to see if they have any Mineral Fusion polishes.
@RGbrown Green might not be your colour but it sure does look good on you! I like the addition of the purplish polish in your ring.
Thanks so much! I really should wear green more often 💚
Those emerald greens on your thumb and middle finger are 😍
Thanks so much! They're gorgeous greens 💚
@RGbrown I'm obviously familiar with Mineral Fusion but never tried anything. Maybe I won't bother, lol.
Yeah, Smoke & Mirrors is fantastic; the rest are pretty colors, and the formula isn't terrible, but overall it's a fairly forgettable brand for someone with a large collection. They're simple polishes for folks that want basics or prefer the "clean" trend. Grab one or two to try at some point (or don't, I'm not your mom) 🤣
I like how your mix turned out @RGbrown
Especially the deep emerald green. It is a classic 👌 (nice deal btw 5$ a bottle is pretty irrestible 😉)
Thanks so much! 💜💚
I have such a hard time passing up a good deal...that's half my problem with my collection 🤣
I love green and purple together, so this is a great mani, @RGbrown ! I really like Smoke & Mirrors and Berry Cute. 💜💚💜💚 There must be something in the air. I have been having a time with my tremors too. I couldn't even take pics of my mani today. 😄 Maybe tomorrow.
@RGbrown Great idea! I like how Berry cute goes well with all of the greens. Smoke and Mirrors is a really special shade! 💚
