Due to some technical glitches with the original Show Me Your Nails Thread, I am starting a new thread with @vegchililover78's blessing (She says "hello," by the way!).
Please share your nail looks, nail art and manicures!
...And don't forget to check out @Beadshopgirl's Nail Stamping Thread for stamping inspiration! ❤️

I didn't have a ton of time last night for multiple colors and various topper combos like I had originally planned for this next mani, but I was beyond ready to get last week's experiments off my nails, so one statement polish and one basic cream with topper was my compromise. ✨
Zombie Claw Goddess Of The Night:
Silver, black, and bright aqua blue flakie bomb. There's some gold in it too, but that isn't really apparent without a strong flash or bright light. Holo too, but same deal, not super strong. The blue flakies shift to a darker cobalt and even purple in the bottle, but I haven't found an angle or lighting where that's apparent on the nails. (ETA: no they don't, I got it confused with another polish I almost used in this mani, whoops!! 🤦♀️) Even ignoring all of these subtle characteristics, I think this polish is gorgeous as is...old school tv static with a pop of color 🤍🖤💙
The polish was thick on the first coat, almost too thick to work with, but adding thinner helped a bit for the second coat....but this was also compounded by the fact that this one has a matte finish, and it is one of those mattes that can be frustrating to work with since they dry so quickly. The brush is a bit disappointing too; it's a paddle style that I would normally love, but it's so freaking fluffy and thick that seeing the edge of where the polish is was nearly impossible, due to excess bristles poofing out. Three coats, the third mostly just to fill a few small holes in the flakie coverage.
Rereading all of that, this sounds like a terrible polish, grouchy mattes with a meh brush normally get a nope from me, but I feel like the ends justify the means on this one...I still love it! 😋 It helps that the flakies disguise most any of my application issues, and even though this is a flakie bomb, cleanup was relatively easy...they are small enough that getting them off my skin wasn't terribly difficult.
It's overcast today, but the sun makes weak attempts to peek out through a break in the clouds every now and again.
Under scrutiny, you can see a little of the gold and a few colors from the holo trying to show up with flash in the dark.
And on my other hand, Revlon Raven Red is a lovely cranberry red. Slightly sheer, more of a crelly I guess, but a relatively easy two coater with minor attention to a bare spot or two. Topped with Smith & Cult Glass Souls, which is (3? 4?) multiple sizes of silver glitter in a clear base. A stripe down the middle on some, and half-ish the nail on others just for fun.
@RGbrown Love that Zombie Claw! Sorry that the formula was a bit tricky but it turned out fab 🙂
Thanks so much! It was totally worth the effort ✨
You are too sweet... I'm mostly just slapping stuff on and hoping it turns out ok 😅
@RGbrown I wish MY nails looked like that when I "slapped stuff on" 😂
You're too sweet, but seriously, your nails always look great! ❣️
@RGbrown Raven Red is such a classic Revlon shade! It was one of my very first nail polishes in the '80s or early '90s (don't recall exactly when I started buying nail polish), and I know it's a much older shade than that. Seeing it is a nostalgia wave for me. ❤️ It looks great topped with Glass Souls.
I passed on Goddess of the Night when I learned it's a matte. I love the way it looks on your nails, though!
So much nostalgia behind Revlon! I didn't have a ton of polish in my teens, but I do remember having a couple of Revlons, and Cherries In The Snow was one of my great aunt's favorite shades ❣️
Goddess may not be the easiest polish I own, but it was definitely worth the work to get it down. It falls on my faves list despite being a bit ornery...I am completely smitten 🖤💙🤍
The variety of colors in those flakies are beautiful @RGbrown! The silver, black and bright aqua totally grabbed my attention (and awe) but then the shifts! Wow! This is the first time I’ve heard of Zombie Claw (or at least that I remember) but I’ll be looking into them after seeing Goddess of the Night. 😍
Ummm, how have I missed out on Raven Red?!!! That’s a beautiful cranberry red! ♥️
Raven Red is an amazing shade! Maybe not all that unique in the grand scheme of things, but I'm really digging on Revlon lately and am so happy I picked this one up ❣️
Zombie Claw is a brand I've wanted for a while just for the name lol, but it took a while for me to see a polish I wanted from them at PPU or HHC *and* to actually remember to go back and buy it when the shop opened 😅
