Hello everyone! I'm sure you've seen the email that was sent out that made my heart skip a beat! For one of the 1,000 point rewards is the 2016 Hourglass Ambient Edit Palette! ๐ฑ in the email they stated that all rewards are posted on tuesdays and Thursday's from 9-5pst. I'm a working woman so I can't sit on my Sephora app on my phone and refresh every few minutes. Hoping someone could give me the day of the month this will launch? Thanks loves!
Hi everyone. I think the problem with the higher point 'rewards' is that there are so very few of them. I looked for this reward at 12:04.( That's when they drop- in my time zone) Sold out. Of COURSE it was!! There were only 38 of them available!!! I don't care how awesome your system is, if you are not checking out in person one item at a time like in the grocery store, If 1000 people all order those 38 palettes at the same time, I'm not surprised that people are getting confirmations and then Sephora realizes that they are out of stock. I think this is also why some of us see them as "sold Out"literally the second they post. Let's say your server/browser is slower than your neighbors. By the time 10:00 and 43 seconds goes by and your page is loaded, she's already placed her order in the first 1/2 minute! Imagine that same scenario 38 times in that first minute and that's why some of us see things as sold out the second they post! I think if we could just tell Sephora what brads we like, they could curate rewards for us when we redeem. They could do something like 1000 points gets you 5 deluxe samples 2000 gets you deluxe samples and a ull sized. Or whatever. But something where it's not a paltry amount of Special items that seemingly less than 1% of qualified buyers get to enjoy!
I think it was 800 for US and 38 for Canada. And I absolutely agree that's it's too much to wait for such a long time just to confirm the item is out of stock. And it's really hard for me to understand how it possible to sell 1000 items if you have only 800 in stock in your system
So I just called and was told it's normal for it to still be processing today and that I should receive tracking info on Monday since they don't ship over the weekend. Sucks they refuse to inquire with the warehouse if they have any left as other companies are able to do.
Hmm restock? Didn't get that in my answer but that makes some more sense. Hopefully this is accurate and Monday will be a great day...for shipping confirmations lol.

Hmmmm...I feel like I've definitely received shipping confirmations over the weekend before.
I know right? I know have received shipping confirmation on Saturday mornings but it's just the label being created and doesn't actually move until Monday.
I got a confirmation email for the reward order yesterday and no shipping confirmation. I was waiting and waiting and nothing. I went to check my order details and apparently it's cancelled now?? I still haven't received an email confirming either way! Not cool ๐
Do you have cancelled status now? Was your order status update?
That sucks! I'm sorry. Mine still hasn't shipped either and I'm thinking it's not going to happen. ๐
