@Samtian, I was a little nervous when I first read the notes on this one - I still love a good gourmand leaning fragrance but I'm a lot less into really sweet smelling scents these days. The candle hit the right notes for me in candle form. The brand put out a collection with three variations on a limoncello cupcake scent - all smell wonderful; if I'm remembering right, this one was my 2nd favorite of the three.

@itsfi  Wow you had an amazing month! Look at all those empties!!! I am in awe and impressed!!!! You did phenomenal!! I just bought a new cleanser. I wish I had see this first!! That’s SkinFx one sounds amazing!!

@ather, my empties stash is like a roller coaster ride - some months are high on the empties counts and others are lower. Makes sense. That shower gel and setting spray though, 2 years! Interesting, because the former is one that took a long time to finish because I didn't care for the scent anymore but the latter is a one I really liked but between rotating other setting sprays and the face that I didn't need to use too much of it, it just took a while. 

Oh, which new cleanser did you pick up?

@itsfi  I panicked and ordered The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser - Hydrating Makeup Remover  not sure why. Definitely haven’t been looking at it or heard about it. Not sure why I added to cart. I like the Oat cleansing balm not sure why I didn’t get that one. Or the Farmacy cleansing balm. I can be strange sometimes!!

Maybe the squalane & hydrating aspects of the cleanser caught your eye @ather? Fall's coming which means a shift in the seasons (theoretically at least, because we've had some uncharacteristic weather worldwide, it seems) and cooler temps means drier skin and that likes the sound of squalane and hydrating. 😉 We've all made knee-jerk purchases, some of us more frequently than others 😬; it happens. I've heard good things about that cleanser; hoping it will be something your skin loves!

@itsfi  Oooo ok good to know you have heard good things. I am using the Rhode one alternating with #Tower 28 Beauty SOS Gentle Hydrating Gel Cleanser + Makeup Remover 5 fl oz. / 148 ml  which I absolutely adore but the packaging is driving me insane. It doesn’t pump properly for me and gets all gummed up. If I’m not a fan of the TO one maybe I’ll switch back or try the one you picked up! But I do like the aspect of it being hydrating. I think the first one I added was for oily skin and I was like noooooo that is not me. So I switched.

@ather, I just looked up what the packaging on the T28 cleanser looks like and I can see how it could be problematic. Is it one of those components where you can unscrew the top/pumping section and decant it into a different dispenser? Or is it the type where it's a single unit and you can separate the pump component from the bottle?

@itsfi  I don’t know if I can unscrew it because it’s the one where they bottom moves up as you use it. I would be scared to unscrew it and it be super broken. Maybe when I’m done I’ll try! I guess if I had a pump bottle to put it in it might work. The cleanser is so good. I can rub it in my eyes and nothing. More to follow. I will try to see what I can do. I’m super close to finishing it! It’s also weird it was more problematic when it was more full vs now when it is almost empty. Maybe I got a lemon and should try it again!! I wish it was a normal squeeze bottle.

I think you made the right call by not trying to open it @ather; I have a couple of products that have a similar type component, not cleansers though. Love hearing that it doesn't irritate your eyes. Do you double cleanse with it or is it this enough for you?

@itsfi  I also double cleanse my face. I like an oil cleanser or a milky cleanser then a gel one. I’ve been using The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL or I also like Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm! but there has been some nights I’m just too tired and I’ll just use the T28 and it seems to be enough!

Kudos to you @ather for going through with your skincare routine even when you're tired. There have been a few days over the past couple of weeks where I've gone to "rest my eyes" and well ... 😪😴 I did get up in the middle of the night to wash my face but not good on my part for not doing that before going to sleep. Ugh. 😐 Gonna aim for not having any more nights like that moving forward.

☝️ all considered "good" but the ones i would repurchase or have, the Trader joes shaving cream omg i will buy this from ebay, hands down best shaving cream ever!!

Olaplex will always be in my rotation,  oribe dry shampoo for the boys,  the prose is excellent as well. 

Bbw foam soaps are my favorite

Here are my June and July empties! I actually thought I would have had more since I waited 2 months. 

 All loves!

Vegamour GRO Revitalizing Shampoo for Thinning Hair -did it make my hair thicker- maybe. But I’m also using BondiBoost HG Shampoo & Conditioner Set for Thinning Hair with Rosemary  my hair feels better. I saw my hairdresser at the end of the month and she seemed pleased. So I call it a win! I like to use a different shampoo for my first wash and a set for my second. I will say the Vegamour smells amazing. I switched to the K18 for my first wash because it was on safe in June! 

Salt & Stone Bergamot & Hinoki Extra-Strength Aluminum-Free Deodorant 2.6 oz / 75 g  works amazing and I love the scent. I have a replacement that is almost gone!

Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint with Hyaluronic Acid + Squalane Shade 4.5 my fav skin tint! Have a backup that’s opened.

@itsfi  I know! I feel like I have gotten my routine down!!!

I do! I do a double wash. My hairdresser told me to do that a long time ago and I’ve always done it. I like 2 different brands so I feel like if one wasn’t as good the other should have cleaned it. Maybe I’m just wasting shampoo???

@ather, it sounds like it is working for you. I may give it a try on a wash day when my hair is feeling oilier, especially if it's not a day I planned to use a detox shampoo.

@itsfi  That sounds like a perfect plan! Good point about the detox shampoo! I usually use a non detox shampoo first then use my detox shampoo but now I wonder if it’s a waste. Am I just adding more to detox??
