Very nice empties @haleyvvvv!!! I guess I'm the only person who actually liked the FAB Coconut Primer. This is the second set of empties where someone ranked it low. I would've bought the full size, but I already have so many primers to get through at the moment.
Thank you, @sephoraaddict918!!
I think because it was labeled as a priming moisturizer, not a moisturizing primer, that I expected it to be more moisturizing, but i guess that explains more of the mattifying bit. I'm glad you like it!! Skincare is so finicky and so individualized.
Nice job on working through your products @haleyvvvv! 💓 I have that Kerastase gwp set. Even more excited to try them after hearing your thoughts on them.
Thank you, @itsfi!! Definitely recommend, but FWIW I have normal to thin hair (but a lot) that's somewhat color treated with an oil scalp and I shampoo everyday. I wasn't using these everyday, but more like 2/3 days and it wasn't too heavy.
From Meh to Nah
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer Medium Brown- Nothing spectacular. I would buy again on sale, but it’s definitely not on the top of my list.
Calvin Klein Woman Eau de Parfum - STANK! This did not meld well with my body chemistry. It smelled like old lady perfume on me.
The Creme Shop I Am Radiant Beauty Water - Wasn’t very hydrating and didn’t make my skin look radiant.
Curlsmith Scalp Stimulator - No longer worked for my hair. I won’t be purchasing anymore.
Derma E Universal Cleansing Balm - Okay balm, but it takes time to work it into an oil. I would purchase again if it’s on sale, but it’s not on the top of my list.
Dermal Honey Grapefruit / Hyaluronate Collagen Essence Mask - There is no difference between these masks. They don’t have much serum, and my skin just feels “meh” after using them.
Armani Beauty Sì Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz/ 50 mL Eau de Parfum Spray- Nice enough fragrance, but not memorable.
Klorane Shampoo with Citrus Pulp - Super drying. Even after pre-pooing and mixing it with a cleansing conditioner, my hair still felt stripped of moisture.
Laura Mercier Velour Puff- I paid TOO much money for this puff to just fall apart!
Neutrogena HydroBoost Hydrating Lip Treatment - This was a nice lip balm, but the packaging just fell apart.
Not Your Mother’s Naturals Passion Fruit Kombucha and Awapuhi Ginger Leave-In Tonic - This made my hair feel sticky, and the sprayer made it almost impossible to get out any product.
Not Your Mother’s Naturals Activated Bamboo Charcoal and Purple Moonstone Scalp Scrub - Easy to work into my scalp and felt nourishing, but sometimes it was hard to wash out the jojoba beads.
Pacifica Banana Love Deep Intensive Moisture Mask - Decent only because I bought it on sale. Definitely isn’t worth the original price tag. It worked well as a pre-poo treatment, but it wasn’t rich enough to use as a deep conditioner mask.
philosophy Purity Made Simple Micellar Cleansing Water 6.7 oz/ 200 mL- Burned my eyes. Hard pass!
Ralph Lauren Romance 1.7 oz/ 50 mL Eau de Parfum Spray- Too much floral! Hard pass for me.
Supergoop Eye Cream with Oat Peptides - Gives whitecast, so I look like a ghost on days when I don’t wear makeup.
tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes™ 4-in-1 Mascara Black - My Ulta Diamond Gift. Good mascara, but not an amazing one. I wouldn’t buy for full price.
Ulta Poreless Face Primer - Silicon-y primer that seems like a dupe for the original Smashbox primer.
Ulta Youthful Glow Primer Serum - I like how light and hydrating this primer felt, but the dropper stopped working about half way through.
Thumbs Up! Good to Almost Perfect
Acure The Essential Rosehip Oil - Enjoyed using this as an oil to lock in my moisturizer during my daytime routine. I would absolutely repurchase this oil.
Acure Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil - Loved using this as an oil during my evening routine. I would repurchase, but I’m currently using Aquaphor to lock in my moisturizer.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment - This has become a new fave as a moisturizer topper during my night routine. If it’s good enough for Beyonce, it’s definitely good for me.
Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Love Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel - LOVE the smell of this scent!
Bath & Body Works Frosted Coconut Snowball Hand Soap - It doesn’t smell anything like coconut, but I actually liked the sweet scent.
Bath & Body Works Boardwalk Vanilla Cone Hand Soap - This smells more like cake batter than ice cream to me, but I’m always up for anything vanilla-scented.
beautyblender blendercleanser® solid pro- Best cleanser to get my sponges back to new.
Benefit The Porefessional Hydrate Face Primer - I’m not the biggest fan of the original Porefessional Primer. The hydrating one is better, but I’m not eager to run out and buy a full size version.
Boscia Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Mask - I hate how much packaging comes with this mask, but my dry skin loves it so much. I won’t buy this often to try to be less wasteful.
Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz/ 50 mL Eau de Parfum Spray- I like this scent, but I don’t love it. I prefer the Legere version.
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser - The CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser burned my face, but this was a great face wash to use in the shower. Even with dry skin, it didn’t feel like it stripped my skin.
CLINIQUE Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream 1.7 oz/ 50 mL- Rich cream that my dry skin loved. I would definitely repurchase.
CLINIQUE Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL- I always come back to this cleanser because I love the mousse-like, creamy texture, and it works well as a second cleanse. It can be drying, but mixing in a little cream cleanser helps keep my face from feeling too stripped.
ColourPop Lippie Pencil - BFF3 is the perfect nude for brown girls.
The Creme Shop Hello Kitty Shooting Stars Sheet Mask - Loved the super cute Hello Kitty print, and my face felt plump after using the mask.
The Creme Shop Start Over Firming + Plumping Face Mask - Plenty of serum. The Creme Shop never disappoints!
Crepe Erase Flaw-Fix Eye Cream - This was a free Diamond Gift from Ulta because I’m off that eye cream narcotic. I liked the richness of this eye cream, but I would never buy it because this is way too expensive. I also didn’t see any amazing results to justify paying full price.
DewyTree Hyaluron Melting-Chou Mask - This has plenty of a milky serum that absolutely nourished my dry skin. I always buy this mask when I see it at World Market.
Dove Dry Spray - Staple in my beauty routine! I finally found a deodorant that keeps me dry, smells great, and doesn't leave any white marks on my clothes.
Earth Therapeutics Cracked Heel Repair - I LOVE the product, but I HATE the packaging. After I use up the one I have now, I might be done with this for a while.
FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation 445- I like it on its own, but it works amazingly mixed in with other foundations to help my base last longer for an entire work day.
Formula 10.0.6 Renewing Foot Balm - This is a good foot cream, but I’m not running out to repurchase it. I wish it was thicker for my DRY feet!
Hempz Coconut Fusion Shimmering Herbal Souffle - This body cream makes me SHIMMER, and I LOVE it!!! I would happily repurchase this.
It’s Skin Honey Mask Sheet - This smells amazing and makes my skin feel hydrated and plump.
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser - Good cream cleanser that works well as a daytime cleanser or to mix in with other cleansers.
Lapcos Hyaluronic Acid Derma Mask - Nice moisturizing sheet mask. I wouldn’t run out to repurchase, but I would buy if I came across it again.
Shiseido Facial Cotton 165 sheets- The HG Cotton Rounds!
Supergoop! PLAY Everyday Lotion SPF 50 PA++++ 2.4 oz/ 71 mL- My favorite body sunscreen!
Supergoop! Glow Stick SPF 50 PA++++ 1 oz/ 28 g - My favorite face sunscreen!
Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer 1.35 oz/ 40 mL - This feels more like a moisturizer than a primer, but it worked well with my more mattifying foundations.
Up & Up Baby Hair + Body Wash - Works great for cleaning my face brushes.
Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask - Clay masks usually burn a little (or sometimes a lot) when I first put them on, but this one felt creamy and gentle. I would absolutely repurchase!
Viktor&Rolf BONBON 1.7 oz/ 50 mL Eau de Parfum Spray- Like the sweet, carmel scent. Don’t like the lack of lasting power.
Viktor & Rolf BonBon Pastel Eau de Toilette - Sweet smell that I like, but no lasting power.
The La Roche-Posay cleanser is a nice one @sephoraaddict918! Happy to hear the Acure oils are ones you enjoy - I’ve had a couple of their products on my list of things to try. 💗
Nice empties, @sephoraaddict918!! That boscia mask, totally agree, its so good but so much packaging. I wish it came in a serum, my dryish skin loves it too.
A couple of things I went through in the last two weeks.
@lmaster Thank you! It feels so good getting through things and I am loving how little by little there is more room in my drawers and on my countertops!
The Sephora green tea face mask is a good one. Will be interested to see how the new clean version compares with the original sheet mask @lnum.
@itsfi I have been thinking about that and really tempted to buy 12 of the old ones incase the clean version doesn’t give me the same results, but I refuse to break this beauty no-buy!
These are my empties I've been stashing for 2+ months. Most products were just me finishing up things I already had open like the Bath and Body Works creams (very partial to Christmas scents). I have to say, I loved the MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Primer 1.52 oz/ 45 mL. I know many have raved about it, but once I actually tried it, I saw why. Now, its on my list as is the belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb 1.68 oz/ 50 mL! I also really liked the Laneige Multi Cleanser. I had this in my stockpile, but apparently it is no longer available in this formulation? If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know!
I feel so wasteful only using one shade of the Charlotte Tilbury setting powder.
