Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

HAHAH @ClassicallyFab, @HookedOnBeauty2 will have you buying one of everything 😉. I do like their lip pencils though; I've had the same one for several months and it's still going strong. They make a great all over lip color too!

That's a great point @ElleElleG, those lip pencils do make a great all over color as well. Hmm now I am thinking those pencils topped with a lip topper - oh yes!!

@ElleElleG you're gonna have to rebuy this one cuz it looks fabulous on you! I'm assuming it's topped with some kind of gloss or something? I love colourpop liquid lipsticks but they make my lips dryyyy up and yours look beautifully hydrated.

@HookedOnBeauty2 I planned to purchase the Yes, Please! palette yesterday but got sidetracked with the Rewards Bazaar. I watched some videos on it this AM and was underwhelmed so I'll likely pass. Also, I confirmed my beloved Bonus Points is no longer there (NO notice or anything that it was being discontinued 😕). I'm contemplating the I Think I Love You palette now and some of their lippie six but also wondering if I should hold off on ordering anything until I see what they bring to Sephora.

@Glitternoodle I always apply a pea-size of lip balm before applying any lipstick/liquid lip but that's it. This is also one of their satin formula which are more moisturizing IMO. Have you tried their satins?

@ElleElleG - the I Think I Love You palette is my favorite followed by She palette then the Yes palette. I hope you get it 🙂

Glad to know you like that one @HookedOnBeauty2 sounds like reevaluating my choice was a good move. Do you know if their palettes are permanent items with the line? They restocked the Yes Please like 3 or 4 times I think?

@ElleElleG I believe they have restocked all 3 palettes a few times so my guess would be they are permanent at least for the time being.

@ElleElleG I actually HAVE Toolips and haven't worn it yet. I have three of the satin ones and I just haven't gotten around to wearing them. I think that's why I assumed it was one of the mattes, as I have only worn my matte colourpop lipsticks and I knew I had that one. I'm so embarrassed of my collection of unused lipsticks 😔 lol I don't know why I keep buying more though!! Good tip on the balm, thanks! Do you find that it changes the lasting power of dry down lipsticks though?

Get to it @Glitternoodle, lol! I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the satin formula once you try. It's easy to forget to use something when you're drawn to other things. If I don't make a plan to use some items, and sit them in front of my makeup I won't use them.

I've never had an issue with it changing the wear of lipsticks though it may take a little longer for a liquid lip to dry down (unless it's a super matte formula). When a KVD ELL for example I can go the entire work day without needing to touch up the liquid lip or feeling like my lips need moisture, and of course that's with eating and drinking involved. I should note though that I've never experienced lipstick bleeding with or without balm so I don't know if that's something you would need to monitor.

I don't have any problems with feathering or bleeding. If I get careless and go too far outside the line (I hate when that happens) I don't have a crisp line and it starts looking funny. That's the closest I might get to application issues which should probably actually be better with the balm. So I think the balm trick should work for me. That will be my Sunday test I guess, since tomorrow is the satin colourpop 😁
