The Fall Lip Challenge

Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

I'm usually more into pinks and berries, but I'm liking nude lips a bit more these days now that I have a better idea of which colors work better for me (warm peachy colors are good, browns and taupes are not). This is Urban Decay Vice lipstick in Ex-girlfriend. It's a bit darker in person but weirdly looks like a sheer gloss in pictures.

So went crazy with the fall look. Eyes mostly Naked Heat Palette with a touch of gold from the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea palette. The lips were done by lining the corners with NudeStix Greystone, then I lined the center with Bite 34 pencil. Then filled in with Tarte creamy lip paint TBT, finished it off with a light ombré dab of Ciate Liquid Velvet Diva. (Thank you Play Box.)
