The Fall Lip Challenge

Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

Here's the challenge: Dig into your lipstick stash and pull out those fall-themed lippies! Post below with your different looks and, of course, let us know what you're wearing. We love to hear application tips and your thoughts on the product.

Maybe it's the lighting but is that a mixture of grey and yellow? It looks like a very difficult color to work with all by itself.  Perhaps a little orange or grey blended in around the edges would give it some ooomph.  @SpaceLlama

a few years ago a bunch of us were gifted Touch in. Sol lippies in canary yellow (horrid color on its own) so we had a little fun experimenting and making them work;)

@heartsmyface A yellow lipstick? I wouldn't even know where to start haha. Sonoran does seem to have a tinge of yellow (at least in my lighting rn) and the yellow/golden glitter makes it appear quite a bit more yellow as well. I only have a bright orange and no grey, but I'll try it out. Thanks 😄

Eyeliner would work too;);). For the longest time I was without a blue lip liner (kvd I'll love you forever for hooking me up) so I just used eyeliner instead.  @SpaceLlama

@heartsmyface You just blew my mind. How have I never noticed that they are practically the same 😮 Thank you! This makes it easier.

@SpaceLlama no probs!  They're not completely the same.  Eyeliner will. Not. Budge. Which seems like a good thing until you've forgotten to reapply your lipstick and you have a ring around your mouth.  It helps to feather the liner in so you don't have a straight line all around;) Don't forget to sanitize with rubbing alcohol and sharpen before using them on your eyes again;).

@ZombieMetroAnt Thank you! I have to admit, it's a hard shade to work with. It's a little lighter in daylight. I've applied it twice before only to remove it because my eyeshadow was too subtle and it didn't look good with it.

@Mcakes Thanks 😄 I always go for a nice brown shade and a rock band tee when I wanna feel extra-badass 😛 And yes, this lipstick and Troublemaker by UD are probably the two most unique shades I own. They're so pretty.

Not a fan of the strong yellow undertone but it's nothing a chocolate lip liner can't fix.

Thank you @Glitternoodle I never viewed it from a gold lens, only a brown one.....perhaps I need to pair with a golden bronze look 🤔
