Wondering if the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks are worth hunting down? Thoughts?

@Sunnysmom  What promo was this?  I wonder how her skin tint will do with a bit of Iris & Romeo's Best Skin Days bronze tint.

Space NK @Ispend2much6 . They sell out very quickly tho it seems. That may be pretty together. I don’t have bronze from I and R only the regular shades and then some bronze drops from others I guess. I used it with my La Mer The Hydrating Illuminator Highlighter and Primer 1.4 oz/ 41 mL and also VBB illuminated moisturizer, Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 Face Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide Dawn and also CDPeau radiant cushion which did help too but all the steps. Lol. I just wanted a few. 🤣 I suppose she means for it to just be a good blurring tint but it just isn’t for me.

@Sunnysmom Thanks for the tag. Wasn’t aware of any promo. Guess I missed it. Maybe I’ll give the mascara a try sometime. I tried the  skin tint when it launched and it was a fail for me because my rosacea didn’t like it. Pretty sure it was the salicylic acid. I prefer makeup to be makeup and skincare to be skincare but Lisa didn’t ask me. 😂

Oh you did @Winthrop44 ? Ya this is a tricky one. I wish I could have given a better review too but not all things can work for all folks I guess! For both of us! I hope it does for some. It feels ok for my skin but it just doesn’t look as good as others do. I bought it with Space NK promo so I’m glad it wasn’t full price! Next!

Yes I was disappointed and sad to not be one of them too @Winthrop44 ! We have each other! 🥰🤗I was pretty surprised as it swatched nicely and I had high hopes but it just didn’t look as I’d hoped! The combos with stuff will make it doable so I don’t waste it tho so there’s that.

Lisa is launching a skin tint on March 19. She recently launched Kitten Lash Mascara and Kitten Flick Liquid Eyeliner, and both are getting good reviews.

Lisa now has a rewards program. If you already have an online account, log in and check the “lisa&me” page. She says purchases made as far back as 2019 automatically count toward your reward tier. 

The 3 tier levels:

I got my 10% discount code in a lisa&me welcome email after I logged into my LE account. Promo code’s good for one use only through end of year eastern time and is not stackable. 

Lisa also released a video explaining this rewards program, and announcing she won’t be launching a holiday item/collection this year. Apparently the product she’s been working on still needs tweaking, so she’s holding off til next year.

@WinglessOne, thanks for your post! None of my past orders were listed when I signed up for lisa&me, so I just sent an email with the order numbers as I would qualify for the top tier. I only saw Lisa's video yesterday to learn that there is a 10% discount. I'm interested in trying her face cleanser. I'm curious about the unique product that she is working on; the one that is delayed until next year. I do find the levels of the reward program to be low, with little benefit unless you reach the top tier...and maybe that's what's driving the design.

This was interesting wasn’t it @WinglessOne ? She’s really growing clearly. What did you purchase? I’m still conflicted even with all the LE I own! Lol Some are better than others like all things lip formulas. I do love her liquid highlighter, eyes aren’t bad and the darn blush that was such a messy disaster and has yet to make any appearance! I hope it does because I love it.

@Sunnysmom, I like her lipsticks (preferring the velvets over the lucents though I wear both), lip pencils, and lip gloss, the one liquid eyeshadow that I have, and her liquid blush. I've been thinking about decanting the two blush that I have as they are tricky to dispense and I'm mindful that they can explode. I need to reach for her liquid highlighters more. I have the mist but haven't used it this Fall so need to go back to that and see its effects. Will try the cleanser if my account qualifies for that discount.

Same same thoughts @TraceyEB . Velvets best, liners, blush, gloss. I didn’t get the mist. I debated decanting my blush too. A few exploded ! 😭 I wondered if our previous orders would count. Let me know if you hear!

Here’s my Ren Gold swatch. I know folks are divided on these but I found them to work well for me, more so over others or shadow . Glad it’s not too warm, it really is a beautiful shade. Cinder also worked for waterline which really surprised me. Never know. Maybe my eyeballs more dry. 😆🥹 It’s good they are kind with returns too if not. Bummer @Ispend2much6 , so sorry they didn’t work for you!  Agree on HG- those really stick! VBB and MAKE work so well too. 😊 Have you tried Chanel’s - I think they’re very good . Great to have options!

I’ve been reading/hearing reviews of these liners since launch because 1) I don’t need more eyeliners 😅 and 2) I can’t help but remember Lisa’s subpar (to me) eyeshadows, which I still have because I was determined to make ‘em work… sigh. I don’t want another disappointment in this price range. From everything I’ve seen and heard, these liners are a hard pass for me. The only one I’d have bought is Cinder Smoke, but if it’s gonna smear/transfer on—or fade from—my hooded lids, then there’s no point. I did also consider that gold shade, but I have a Linda Hallberg that’s probably very close. 

I’m glad the liners work for you though! And I still love Lisa’s lipsticks and liquid shadows, and even the blush (though getting it outta the tube is a challenge; someday I need to do surgery on that nozzle). I’m just better off staying away from these liners.

I get it I do @WinglessOne ! You never know I suppose until you maybe try one and see. We’re all different that’s for sure. I don’t think there is that much difference from some other liners except that now we’re spoiled with the wonderful formulas from VBB and more! So these seem like somewhere in between I would suppose. Good thing there’s so many good options and newness. I think the issue is we have such high hopes for all of her products.  I so agree with you on the shadows. I got the one neutral palette and it was ok but not amazing. I have too many other options I like more. Same with the liquids, they’re lovely but why don’t I wear them much. Lol. I loved Linda H line too! And don’t get me started on that blush. 😆 I love love them but my tubes busted at the bottom and one just refuses to come out at all! So sad! I do hope she does a redo sometime. Seems like years. 😭

@Sunnysmom  Looks so pretty on you!  Yes, I have VB.  They smear some.  Have Chanel but can't remember how they perform.  Interesting about MAKE.  I'm looking for a cool, vibrant purple. 

My eyes are more hooded than they used to be, which probably doesn't help.  And I do think using a primer or cream shadow makes things worse, for me anyway.

@Ispend2much6 a cool purple sounds so pretty! MAKE has Violet Abyss which may not be vibrant enough for you or maybe so. Looks pretty. Yup I know you love VBB too! 🥰 I couldn’t just do a cream primer and then just the liner either. Have to have the powder shadow over that and then the liner! All of the steps, ugh lol I hear you on the hooded lids! Where did they go?! 😭 South that’s where. Lol. Along with so many other things! 😭

@Sunnysmom @Yes! I realized why my mouth looks so squished together now- the skin above it is drooping.
