100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

This is a ghost post for me 👻 I literally keep meaning to share this, I think I do .... and then I guess I never did? 🤔😅

Thought this would be a good place to share this one.

I don't contour or use lip liner other than in a 'trace my lip' liner method. Does anyone play around with their lip liner placement? I'm curious to hear what you do. 🔎

I've heard that really helps lip stick last longer @Girly2Shoes. Do you find that it works out that way for you?

@CynthieLu @Girly2Shoes - I start with LAWLESS Forget the Filler Lip-Plumping Line-Smoothing Tinted Lip Balm Pink Marshmallow , then line my natural lip line and fill in with a clear lip liner (UD Ozone 24/7 lip liner), add lipstick on top, and then blot.  My lipstick lasts from around 6:30 AM to around 12:30 PM when I have lunch.  It would probably last all day if I didn't eat. 😄  The lip liner and blotting make a big difference. 💋💄

I agree with Girly2Shoes, a colored lip liner changes the color of my lipstick.  That's why I only use clear lip liner.

@CynthieLu - Sephora used to sell the Ozone lip liner.  Now it's available at Ulta.  Sephora still has the Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil 0.10 oz/ 3 g , which isn't the same.  I have this and use it when I run out of the lip liner.  It's more tacky (sticky) and doesn't hold up as well.
