100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

I actually had this one on my mind for a while before the lovely @sprockettaUnidentified posted hers yesterday, but just hadn't gotten around to it. I got rid of all my plain Jane matte liquid mattes in my first round of decuttering, but kept a few of the metallic ones for further testing. It's only been a half an hour or so, so no real thoughts yet, but I have my fingers crossed. The coverage was smooth and even with one thin coat, and I love love love the color, so I'm hoping comfort and performance are good because I'd love to keep this one 😋

Sadly though, around the 4 hour mark, I couldn't stand it anymore. Dry and cracking and flaky, oh my. To be expected with a matte I guess...I'm a little sad, but not surprised. That just leaves more room for loves in my collection 😁

A couple hours in, and I can tell I'm wearing a matte...my lips are starting to feel dry, but surprisingly, no cracks or other ugliness is setting in yet. There's hope! 😛

Day 11 is Maybelline's lip jolt in Never Bare. A lovely pink but transfers easily. 

It was getting towards the end of the night when I remembered I hadn't done another lippie. Can you tell? I look exhausted! Lol.

Here’s one that needed a little love —NARS Audacious in Vivien. It’s a kind of weird color. Like a soft plum. But a little rosy. But not really. It’s prettier IRL than it looks here. And of course, this formula wears like iron but stays comfortable. NARS Audacious in Vivien

@jozkid for as confusing as your description of it is, it's a really classic looking colour on you! Makes them baby blues pop! I do love the Audacious formula. I actually only own Audrey in it (my grandma's name), but I love it!
