100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Thanks @keana1! I am digging the brow gel. I was a bit worried the colour I picked would be too light, but it seems like a perfect match. I am still figuring out the best balance for my brows, but so far am liking the effect it gives!

Thanks @alexasteph! It's a really nice colour! Definitely more red looking in this pic than in real life. I am excited to see how it wears on you, I am sure it will be great! I also grabbed Jicama, which I had been wanting for a long time!

@NotCrocker Jicama caught me eye too - I just have too many in that shade family already! I turned down Candied for the same reason. Even though I love the formula, I have plenty of similar shades in other formulas I love. Orange and rust shades are lacking in my collection, so I was able to pick up a couple during the sale.

It shouldn’t be too hard to get hold of one @sprocketta. They always seem to be in some set or another. It actually is a nice universal type color, but I think it’s it’s gotten to be a little bit of a joke because it’s ALWAYS included in GWPs

@snoflakefaerie this is a great challenge!! I am guilty of carrying at least 7 lipsticks with me at all times, and usually have a few more in my purse by accident!! And I know that no matter what else is going on, I am perfectly happy leaving the house with lipstick as my only makeup! I’m late to the party but I’ll jump right in tomorrow AM with my Day one!

Day 23 Bite liquid lip in Arrowroot. Skipped Saturday cuz I felt like taking a break  w makeup.  Hmm, I will keep it but not sure about the formula. It's really a pigmented gloss and not a standard liquid lipstick like I thought. It wears decent thru drinking with a straw. In picture 2 you'll notice it wears in the top/bottom middle. Pat Mcgrath Matte trance in 1995. What a journey to buy this lipstick. I wanted 3 lipsticks for the$25, especially such high end w the 20% sale.  Who wouldnt? So, I called 3 stores throughout the week everytime I would see the Lust Trio in stock on Sephora. Everytime, at everystore,  someone just bought them and got all the pkgs in one go. There was even one person who bought all 10 at a store that doesnt even sell PMG and told the clerk it was "for gifts" I understand its a great set but could they have left 2 at least so other people could buy? Man, my luck was not good and I gave up looking.

I thought if I couldnt get the trio then I would at least swatch all 3 to see how they look like. Im glad I did as I fell in love w 1995 the moment I swatched it on, after sanitizing the bullet. It was the perfect MLBB. I was so excited when I bought it and broght it home. Then, as I was putting it on, it looked way darker than at Sephora and was disappointed that the lighting was so bad there. Turns out, I bought the wrong one and got Omi, which I thought was so boring on me. I realized I dont have good sight anymore 😞 So, I had to drive back during rush hour Friday to buy it. I put it on as soon as I got in the car and it was a pleasant drive home knowing I had the color I wanted and didn't need to "stress" that I didnt get the mini set. Revlon Colorstay moisture stain  035 Miami Fever, lined with Bite lipstick pencil in 074. Nope, this one is automatically going into the bin. It took 3 coatsto get an opaque color but still patchy in the middle and it bled very badly into the lip. With just drinking 😞 .  Bleeding with a lip liner is no good in my book. On the bright side, it did wear off into a nice stain that covered all the lips but, you know, the bleeding is bad. Im glad to get rid of this one as it doesnt have that much of clean ingredients in it and I now have better oranges in my collection 🙂Revlon Colorstay
