This weekend I tried the dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream Original , but used way too much.  I also tried a bit of the #Briogeo Style + Treat™ Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15 g both applying to my hand and then strategically applying to my hair and applying directly to my hair.  (1) I don't wear my hair in slicked back styles so don't see myself using this.  (2)  I didn't like the heavy, waxy feel with either application method.  (3)  My frizz is mostly gray hairs and it didn't seem to help.  Maybe if I applied extremely heavily, which I'm not sure I would like since I didn't like the heavy, waxy feel of the light application.  (4)  I may try again for very targeted spots.

This weekend I used one of the hair band and loved.  Of course with my very fine, thin hair and three twists of the band it was still too loose.  After a couple of hours, it was halfway down my ponytail! 😆  I will carry one in my bag.

I tried the dae again today.  I used amika Normcore Sulfate Free Shampoo 9.2 oz / 275 mL , amika Normcore Hydrating Conditioner 9.2 oz / 275 mL , and amika amika x HairToStay The Wizard Detangling Hair Primer 5 oz / 150 ml .  I air dried my hair to damp while putting on my makeup.  When I was finished, I scrunched in a pea size amount of the dae on my fine, thin wavy hair and then scrunched in a pea size amount of Twist Weather Up Gel by Ouidad.  I followed this with the Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong Finish 10 oz/ 330 mL over all my still slightly damp hair.

My hair at 6:30 AM.

My hair at 5 PM after driving with the windows open until I got to the highway and being out in moderately breezy conditions while running errands.

I'm happy with the hair spray.  It left a bit of crispiness, but not crunchy.  My hair stayed in place and I didn't have to use very much.  I also like the dae now that I used the right amount. 🙂
