Has anyone out there tried the Top Box Subscription? ✨️📦✨️

I did and was on the fence about it.  I got my first Box and I think I'm going to keep going with it, until next month at least. 

Details:

Canadian Sub box for 15$ that gives you 4 trial sized of random products.

Pro: Affordable 

Con: Who knows what you'll get 🤗  and tiny products.

okay so first impressions:
Wow! What a surprise, three full size lip products! 
🩷 A liquid lipstick in Dusty Rose by Laritzy 
💚A tinted lip oil by Manna Kada
💜  A tinted lip balm by Maskeraide.

Plus, the two minis. A facial oil by Clairns and a mascara, Roller Lash by Benefit Cosmetics.

This box has more value than what I paid and the quality of the lippies were a hit for me. 
Each one tasted nice on my lips and were hydrating. Plus they look so pretty on.

The Clairns oil is more sample than trial size so menh 😴  but I'm okay with the mini mascara, I use it everyday so it'll serve me well lol

SO,  for now,  I'm going on for another month. I'm excited to see where this goes.

I hope you find some good inspiration for the blush. 🧡 That little compact is pretty sweet thou. I couldn't believe they put a full sized makeup item in the box. 😄

The more I look at this month’s blush, the more it says “no-makeup makeup look” to me.

I love the little mirror compact with this one. Its just so nice 😄I  see what you mean about this blush and it's color. It's very natural flush 🧡✨

I keep getting asked through email about the Laura Mercier body collection. Asking how I enjoyed my sample,even thou I never recieved a sample. 🤔

So that might be featured in this box possibly ...or it was just a few samples that never made it to my door.

Top box Experiences in the inbetween time 🎁

The email came last week with a little questionnaire about my box. After I got asked if I wanted to pay 10$ additional for the Privee box and I paid. I like that deal 😁

However,

I did just get the email today saying they had run out.

I was surprised they didn't say right away that my additional charge would be refunded right? I emailed CS and inquired about it, I'm sure they'll issue a refund once they sort out who's getting or not getting the Privee box 🤗

I got the same box as @JoSometimes - I confess I'd rather have had the box @CynthieLu got! But I'm happy with mine just the same. I've been looking at that eyebrow wax for awhile, for sure, and I already have a bunch of Innisfree products that are going to go into rotation fairly soon. I had to laugh when I saw the Clarins, remembering all the times @CynthieLu got Clarins items! But that's okay, it'll go into my Clarins bag, and I'll put them all into rotation when I have a good range of products.

I think I need to practice my haul "selfies", though. LOL

I agree. It seems like this is Clarins’ way of spreading the word about their products. I love that you have a bag of just things from them!

@JoSometimes  I actually have a large canvas bag full of sets of product lines. I save them by brand, and that way I can try out a product line all at once without needing to make expensive investments in their stuff without knowing if I like it or not. I did purge some items recently, just some foils and such that I knew I'd never use, but there's still a whole lot left! Including Clarins. LOL

That’s smart @Westcoasty! I tend to try things out by need. I don’t quite have that large of a collection to go by brand.

@JoSometimes  It's accumulated over several years. Some of the samples probably need to be thrown out by now! But I do tend to try for rewards and samples of products where I'm collecting the brand.

Clairns makes really good products, I've got to test out a good few items now. Lol, I feel like they are possibly supporters of this sub box 😉 

I'm a big sun screen everyday kinda person, if I'm not diligent I skip the retinols too. I don't want to waste my efforts. And for weeks after you stop using as well, that's a big sunscreen commitment. 🤗

(I just tried a tiny bit of the HA serum on my damp face after I washed it tonight,  oh its really nice! )

@CynthieLu  Yes, I'm kind of getting the impression that Clarins sends a lot of business their way myself. LOL

I'm looking forward to trying the Clarins in due course, but I've taken a page from your book and am rotating my product lines to see what my skin likes. The Grown Alchemist rewards bazaar box I got unfortunately wasn't a winner, but I'll keep going!

Coincidence,  I also was going to purchase a brow wax but held off because I've never found one I liked.  My brow story is, they are sparse from over plucking in my youth but each hair is thick, and it's a wierd combo let me tell you 😅

I got a serum by Innisfree innisfree Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum 2.7 oz / 80 mL 

From Clarins ( this brand is in every box so far)  Clarins Multi-Active Anti-Aging Day Moisturizer for Glowing Skin 1.6 oz/ 47 mL 

And 2 items by Benefit 

Benefit Cosmetics Fluff Up Brow Flexible Brow-Texturizing Wax Clear  

Benefit Cosmetics Mini Precisely, My Brow Pencil Waterproof Eyebrow Definer Shade 3  ( a full size item, that is a rare Unicorn, hurray!)

I'm very happy with what I have this time, a break from lippies and mini mascaras was really nice.  I'll use the day cream and HA serum, they both will fit into my routine nice and easy.  HA goes so easily into a routine and subbing out my day cream for a few days with this will be so simple. 

Clairns is good quality and a nice brand and Innisfree is like a kbeauty legend, soo yeahy 🙌

My verdict is,  I'm super happy and going in for another month 🙂

I’m happy to see the brow wax in there. Lately, I’ve just being using a pencil to do my brows. I have elf’s Wow Brow gel to tame the hairs a little, but it always makes my brows look super dark. I was going to replace it with something clear or translucent but now I don’t have to! I used it once already and I liked it.

I’m surprised to see some k-beauty in here with the innisfree serum. They always seem to do a good job with their R&D to ensure it’s friendly for sensitive skin and my skin generally enjoys Hyaluronic acid products. 

Clarins’ cream is the one I’m mildly apprehensive about trying. The packaging said for normal to oily skin but online, it says formulated for all skin types. At least it’s trial size, so it’s not the end of the world if I find it’s not doing much for me. 

I almost bought a retinol a few days ago but decided to wait. I’m glad to see Jouviance’s the box. It’ll save me from having to get another for a little while. It says formulated for sensitive skin, so I’m excited to give it a try. The price for a full size is up there though, so hopefully I don’t fall in love with it too much!

@JoSometimesI got the same box as you. I'm a little doubtful about trying the Jouviance, for the simple reason that I'm terrible about wearing sunscreen. But the brow wax and the Innisfree serum are both things I want to try, and the Clarins will get tried out once I put my little bag of Clarins trial sizes into rotation. I hope you enjoy your goodies!
