Has anyone out there tried the Top Box Subscription? ✨️📦✨️

I did and was on the fence about it.  I got my first Box and I think I'm going to keep going with it, until next month at least. 

Details:

Canadian Sub box for 15$ that gives you 4 trial sized of random products.

Pro: Affordable 

Con: Who knows what you'll get 🤗  and tiny products.

okay so first impressions:
Wow! What a surprise, three full size lip products! 
🩷 A liquid lipstick in Dusty Rose by Laritzy 
💚A tinted lip oil by Manna Kada
💜  A tinted lip balm by Maskeraide.

Plus, the two minis. A facial oil by Clairns and a mascara, Roller Lash by Benefit Cosmetics.

This box has more value than what I paid and the quality of the lippies were a hit for me. 
Each one tasted nice on my lips and were hydrating. Plus they look so pretty on.

The Clairns oil is more sample than trial size so menh 😴  but I'm okay with the mini mascara, I use it everyday so it'll serve me well lol

SO,  for now,  I'm going on for another month. I'm excited to see where this goes.

It might be the quiz that I've already done, though I thought that was on their website. I definitely haven't gotten an email about the offerings for the month. I'll keep an eye out for both, though! Thank you so much for making sure I don't miss them.

I'm really looking forward to comparing what we get, for sure. It must be the individualization of the boxes that takes the time - I couldn't figure out before why I couldn't get a July box when I paid for it a few days ahead of time. But it makes sense if they're trying to tailor it to our preferences. And I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what @CynthieLu gets for her Luxe box!

I'm so thrilled this month was a hit for you. That is a fun assortment this time around. 

I'm traveling atm and won't be home for a week or two, I'm going to have this fun box waiting for me. (🎁 that's exciting 😄)

I'm most curious about the highlighter ✨️ (I tried a lippie by Estate and was very pleased with it. I have high hopes for thier highlighter 😄)

Enjoy everything! Every box has had a foil or tester by Clairns lol but the Perfume is a first that I've seen.

Just so there's no confusion 😉 There was no option for personalizing or upgrades this month. Last month I got to upgrade and they included the full size product in that box. 

( it was the Peace Out Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Serum 1 oz / 30 mL )

This month I got the email to do a survey about this coming box,  but after I filled it out they said there was nothing available to personalize etc.. (no upgrades)

@CynthieLu   Ah, thanks for clarifying. Well, I'm looking forward to my first box next month regardless! I suppose what we get depends to a large extent on what they're given to send. Maybe some months they don't have enough options to do much personalization. But they still look like a ton of fun. There's always been something in what you and @JoSometimes have posted that I want to try myself. Squee!

Alot of the reviews on this one are so mixed but I have been pretty ok with what I'm getting and at this price, it's pretty reasonable. 😉

@CynthieLu   Yep, it's definitely my first sub! In the past I'd considered things like FitFabFun and subscription fashion boxes, but they were a bit rich for my blood. This seems like a great starter, though I admit that seeing what you've been getting has given me the courage to dive in. 😊

And you know, for $15, I'm willing to dabble my toe in the water. If the August box is an epic fail, it won't break the bank. But I bet there will be at least one thing in there that I like that's worth more than $15. 🤞

Anyhow, this is very exciting, I agree! It just seems like an awfully long time till August 15. I'll have to live vicariously through your July box till then. LOL

There are soo many different options out there @ruthruthtruth33 

It depends on where your from, I know there are lots in the USA. I'm in Canada and I had to really look and research to find one that suited my needs and I felt I could trust. 

I chose this one because it was Canadian, was low cost and I was okay with what I read in the reviews 🙂

No foiled sized samples in this box, that's a win.😄 (I do not feel I get a good sense of a product from a foil)
These are all tester size (Laniege, Clairns and Aveeda) or minis (lippie + mascara).🥳

My full size product upgrade was #Peace Out Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Serum 1 oz / 30 mL 
It has Niacinamide, Vitamin C and Salicylic Acid. 2 of those work for my skin for sure, so I am excited to try this one. (After my current Niacinamide finishes Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum: For Plumping & Anti-Aging 1.7 oz/ 50 mL )

The lippie by Estate is a slightly deep berry. It says its a buildable lip stick.  This is one light swipe, 

I'm wearing it right now, it's a practically matte shade and very hydrating. An hour in and my lips are still berry and not dry at all. I feel like this will absorb very soon into a nice stain. (The box it came in had serious GR vibes)

I've tried other mascaras by Benefit and enjoyed them but this one is new to me too. It has very bold claims I'm happy to put to the test Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Lengthening Mascara Black 😄

Aveeda Bond Building Styling Creme- I've used this line from Aveda before, but only in Shampoo and Conditioner. (It was great until I moved onto Olaplex 🙃) so trying this out I think will be fun.  It was a really nice line up I can revisit.  💚

LANEIGE Radian-C Brightening Treatment Essence was not on my radar, but there are soo many products from them I have really enjoyed. I hope this one is a good as others in its line.

Clarins Treatment Essence-
Every box I feel has had something by Clarins. I am not motivated to try any of them right now.  I need to make it a goal to start using them.  I've got a sizeable amount of Clairns samples Ive stashed. I need to give them some attention 😋

Final thoughts: impressed with this box 📦 👌  I'm staying in for next month 🙂

Wooow! These are top shell items @CynthieLu! I was expecting a few to be lesser known brands or things that didn’t sell well during their run. Can’t wait to see what comes next month!
