@haleyvvvv Thank you! I would say I prefer that over thick and creamy or thicker and sticky.
@lnum I am just finishing my bottle of Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C + Niacinamide Serum 1.0 oz/ 30 mL and I think hands down is my fav vitamin c cream ever. Next I have the tatcha but it says to use at night which sorta bums me out because that means I can’t use it every day. I’m going to try using in the morning and see how it goes!
@ather This one has great reviews and I was curious about it! Let me know how you like both when you test out the Tatcha. The Summer Friday’s I have only used the jet lag mask which clogged my pores so I figured the Tatcha might be better for me because I’ve used other products from the brand successfully. My intention actually is to use vitamin c at night, because I use niacinamide during the day.
@ather I tend to stay away from retinol in face products although I have used it successfully in the past. I am more in favor of Bakuchiol for my skin because it’s gentle, with my dark circles and fine lines around my eyes now being the one exception. My circles and lines around my eyes have really increased from stress in the past year.
@ather I hope so too! There is a light at the end of this tunnel and our skin will be thankful. 😅
@ather Thank you! How are you doing? I remember you were working part time and face masking more often. 😉
@lnum Still part time!! Still masking pretty much every day! I’ve been good. It’s warming up where I live which is nice. I like to go outside more often! I’ve been baking tons and reorganized my house. Trying to make things more clean and accessible!! How have you been?
@ather What is your skin type? I have learned my pores get clogged easily so I can’t sheet mask everyday but I dream of being able to do so. 😅
Sounds like we’re really on the same wave length, those home projects can be so satisfying. Yes to warm weather! Have you got any Spring plans to spend time outside?
@lnum My skin is super sensitive and dry, very acne prone. So far my skin has been ok with my masks. But I usually use a moisturizing mask. I use a pore vacuum pretty often I find it helps keep everything clean!
Omg I’m loving home projects lately. I’ve been decluttering too and it’s so satisfying for me. Where I live still have pretty strict rules I can’t see anyone outside my household. We have been planning an overnight trip to the city but we will see. Hopefully they lift restrictions soon.
Do you have any plans?
@ather Ah that helps with context. I’m combination oily, sensitive, acne prone. A pore vacuum?
I hope things improve where you are and they loosen the restrictions as appropriate. In NYC it’s getting a lot better and we can do more in small groups as well as socially distant events and venues. There’s this new visual arts installation downtown called Geometric Properties that I think we’re going to go see sometime in April.
yes a pore vacuum PMD Personal Microderm Pro it helps pull and the gunk out of my skin.
@lnum Yes it’s a cool tool!! I had a cheap one and I let it stay in one spot tooo long and I got a bruise. I recommend the better ones the vacuum aren’t as strong.
@ather There are so many tools out there I don’t trust myself with. 😂
I am actually thinking it’s time I get a real facial I’ve never actually had one and I’m also considering doing micro needling. I have a few more months of laser hair removal on my face (what a commitment it has been for my hormonal areas!) and then I think I’ll be able to do those types of treatments without fear of over-sensitivity.
@lnum Ooo I love facials. Soo good. I want to try micro needling. I’m just nervous about it. Also I live in a tiny town I don’t even know if there’s anyone to do it here. Would you do the laser hair removal in other places? I’ve been considering it but agin no one here to do it lol.
@ather I do remember us talking about this! I definitely understand accessibility is an issue I am used to access at all hours to almost everything in NYC. YES! I love laser hair removal it’s made me so much more confident about the hairs on my face as I’ve slowly watched them go away. After I’m done with my face I’m planning to do my legs next! Never want to shave again, lol.
@lnum Oh how I miss the 24/7 accessibility. I’m hoping we get to go to a big city again next!!! Omg never shaving again that would be so amazing. I may need to figure a way to get that done. I hate shaving or waxing or anything lol.
@ather I hope you get to go to a city next too! Never shaving or waxing again is the dream!!! 😍
