@itsfi What a crummy thing, to come back from a trip with a cold! Hopefully it doesn’t last too long.

are the MBM brushes travel sized or regular sized? I didn’t even realize he had brushes other than the double ended! 
That same Ginger Biscuit is on my list for the sale. I feel like it’ll be a lovely scent to get me into holiday vibes! 
Would love to see a swatch of the Merit LE when you’re feeling better!

@missjeanie, the MBM brushes are travel size; these single-ended ones are limited edition but I’m hoping he’ll release more or make them permanent. Yes, I’ll get a swatch of the Merit LE, on arm and lip, later this week. Aiming for Friday, maybe Thursday. Will tag you. 

Never fun being sick but I’m feeling better; a little achy still but better. I ‘spose the bright side is that it’s on the way back home and I didn’t get sick going there - that would have been hard; I can at least sleep in my own bed as I work on getting better.

Also, the m.ph release, nothing grabbed me, but the liners...did you find the one you selected to be very smooth?  How is the wear time?

Hahahaha @danielledanielle. It's only been a few days but I'm really happy with the MBM brushes so far. The brush heads are similar to the dual-ended brushes (or at least as I can tell from the one I have). These are short handles but I feel like compared to other mini sized brushes like MAC, they're a little longer. I find them to be a good length, though I have read others finding them to be on the small side.

Will get back to you on the m.ph - I haven't had a chance to really play with it, or not as much as I'd like. It does apply smoothly, but I'll let you know about longevity and overall performance, both when worn as a liner and also when lined & diffused. I'm really close to using up all of the CT liner from this week's makeup capsule, so I'll sub this one for that or rotate between the two.

Enjoy your advent calendar, @itsfi! I like how the brush set looks. I’m sorry you got a cold on your flight back. ☹️. I seem to always catch colds on flights, and just sort of hope it’s on the flight back and not on the flight out.  Get well soon!

Thank you @curlychiquita. Excited about the advent calendar. There's only one product in the calendar that I already have, which is pretty good since I have quite a few things from the brand.

I think it was inevitable I would catch something - I was fortunate that on the flight back the middle seat was empty but the person in the window seat was sniffling and coughing throughout the flight. I had my water, drank a lot of orange juice, my emergen'C, and put on a mask that I carry with me when I travel, but the odds of me catching a cold were not in my favor. 😔 It's alright, I feel better today than I did last night and this morning, so I think we're trending towards recovery. 🤞

The brush set is a beauty. I had a bad experience in the past with a dual ended Make-up by Mario brush, it broke apart while being fairly new. Has that ever happened to you before? 😅 I feel like it was just a one off, not really common occurrence.

That's my fear currently with the F4 @CynthieLu , it seems like there was a few batches where this was happening and older purchases are still standing strong.  Sorry that happened 😞

I only have one dual ended Makeup by Mario brush (original F4) and really only a couple of dual-ended brushes in general. I can’t say I’ve ever had that experience of them breaking, but I don’t really use them all that often - I can see how dual-ended brushes can be convenient for travel but I have always preferred single-ended brushes. So far, the brushes from this set have worked out well for me. 👍🏼

Thanks for the well wishes; hoping it’s just my body needing more rest and that the symptoms wear off soon. 🤞🏼

@greeneyedgirl107 oh can you give me a mini review on the Pantene hair oil when you get around to try it. 😘 I use to love the Beautiful Hair line they had for long hair. They discontinued it (I think).

@blackkitty2014 I've tried the Pantene oil x3.  The first time it was pretty good.  It felt like a silicone serum, but surprisingly doesn't have silicones.   I liked that because I felt like I got more oil benefit.   The second time I think I applied too much in general, plus I layered it over another oil.  The third time I used just a bit on fried ends, and it worked.

@Sunnysmom the Fenty is nice enough and goes well with my highlighter but it's not quite right.   Looking forward to trying the Milani.

I hope so @greeneyedgirl107 , Milani makes nice stuff! You may love the YSL 44 too.  It’s neutral enough so I bet it wouldn’t mess with your natural cheek color plus could be a subtle built in highlighter. Or maybe you like more of a neutral nude pink or nude rose. I know you’ll find the perfect one and how fun to look for it!
