Dior - a couple orders:

Background is my Gold welcome gift (tote bag). Brushes are my Silver welcome gift.Sturdy brush holder that came with the brushes. It zips shut.

Mini Miss Dior Essence bottle and bag are a masterclass gift. All else are various free samples.

Rouge Dior Lipstick shade 261 Ruban veil - trying the new sheer matte finish of these lipsticks. This one feels comfy on my lips—better than a MAC Powder Kiss, but less pigmented. I was able to build it up to a soft demi-sheer at most. Eh, a deeper shade might have a bit more opacity. I’ll have to wear Ruban a full day to test for wear time. Oh, and it has the same floral fragrance as the matte and satin Rouge Diors.

DIOR Rouge Dior Refillable Lipstick 400 Nude Line (refill) and 666 Rouge en Diable matte - so yeah, ReD snuck into my cart all on its own, I totally didn’t add it myself because I am trying to reduce my reds, not add more, and that’s the tale I’m stickin’ to. 😅 I’ve stalked Nude Line for a bit, so I’ll admit to that one—but my refill arrived with a smushed tip. My local Dior boutique doesn’t carry makeup (they do have the Privée fragrance line), so I can’t exchange in person. But this isn’t the first smushed bullet I’ve ever gotten from anywhere, so I know how to work around it (or quickly reshape the tip if it gets annoying). Besides, Nude Line is too pretty to be mad at.

Rouge Premier Lipstick Refill shade Premier 12 - when these lipsticks launched last year, I wanted this deep red plum shade but it was constantly OOS—so I bought Premier 7 instead, which is lovely. Happy to have shade 12 now. Still not gonna buy that pretty and pricey Premier ceramic lipstick case though.

DIOR Forever Glow Maximizer Longwear Liquid Highlighter shade Flame - resisted this fiery copper as long as I could. Gonna have fun with this one!

Diorshow Mono Couleur shade 240 Denim - it’s icier blue in person than I expected, but I’ll still get good use from it. This shade might also be in the Denim quint I don’t have.

Bois Talisman EdP, travel size duo - opens very creamy vanilla and burnt caramel. Dries down to a lightly smokey caramel vanilla cream with cedar shavings. I’m not normally a fan of this general EdP scent profile (I prefer it in candle form), but Dior’s is somehow vanilla sweet without making me wanna wash it off my arm. It’s probably that burnt caramel note + the cedar shavings; it helps that the vanilla sweetness drops a couple notches at drydown. I keep saying “cedar shavings” because this isn’t a cedar plank; it’s more like… have you ever opened a brand new bag of pet cage/hutch/pen bedding? It’s that scent. I love cedar in any form, so I’ll take the shavings.

Some people insist Maison Margiela 'REPLICA' By The Fireplace 3.4 oz / 100 mL is a dupe of this (though BT is the newer of the two) but I disagree. They share a scent profile—eh, they belong to the same fragrance category—but BTF has a roasted nut note with no cedar and, to me, it’s sweeter than BT.

New Look EdP, travel size duo - a polarizing fragrance with a whole lotta haters but I dunno, I like it on myself. Anyone who hates aldehydes will have a very bad time here: the opening is HUGE juniper soap vibes. Then the frankincense kicks in, adding incense and faint smoke. An amber base rounds everything out. The drydown is a relaxing outdoor soak in a hot pine bubble bath, with lots of suds and pine branches on the water and incense burning beside the tub—on a crisp fall afternoon.

GWP:

• Miss Dior Essence mini bottle and floral bag - this masterclass promo was supposed to come with a different bag (the pink Miss Dior vanity case) but they must’ve run out. I might gift this one away.
• Silver welcome gift: brush set with holder - these are the no. 11 foundation, 16 blush, and 21 shader brushes. My reward tier status expired this summer; surprisingly, it didn’t take long to re-Silver, and this is a pretty good gift.
• Gold welcome gift: tote bag - and yeah, I guess I kinda got here pretty quick too. 🤦‍♀️I do like tote bags, so I’ll store things in this one.
• Various fragrance samples - between these orders and others I’ve placed this year, I’ve got more Sauvage (and flankers) than I know what to do with. I know someone who loves Dior Homme, so he’ll get those two bottles.

Wow this is such a gorgeous haul! And those extra goodies! 😍 I haven’t shopped direct from them before, but I keep seeing how well they treat their clients and it’s making me want to give it a try. How do you find out about their masterclasses?

Thanks @Mcakes and sorry I missed your question! Like @Ispend2much6 said, you just need to join Dior’s Beauty Privé rewards program by creating an account online. All reward tiers (except Guest/no registered account) get email invites to the online masterclasses. 

Notes and observations about the online classes: 

• The ones I’ve attended so far were just 15 minutes long at most. Surprisingly short.
• I don’t find them very engaging: the entire classes are very obviously scripted, and the presenter recites the script as if she’s narrating the IRS tax code. 😅
• Keep an eye on the live chat (during the class). That’s where a Dior employee will post promo codes for gifts; they usually do that near the start of the chat, and sometimes also at the end.
• All Dior promo codes come with a minimum spend, and you can use only one per order.
• If you plug a promo code into your cart and a picture of the gift doesn’t appear on screen in cart, then that code’s “sold out” and you won’t get that gift. 
• Class start times in email invites and reminders are ET, but you probably won’t see a time zone mentioned. I almost missed my first class because of that (I’m in central time, not eastern time). 

You can find various promo codes for Dior gifts online, outside of masterclasses, and sometimes those gifts are subjectively better than the class gifts. A few folks post a list of available Dior codes per month. Just search for something like “[month] Dior promo codes” to find ‘em.

Also, check retailers to see what (if any) Dior GWP they have. Nordstrom sometimes has good ones with a lower minimum spend than Dior direct.

Thanks @CookieGirl1 ! Dior knows how to keep folks buying direct from their site. 😅 Though their GWP via other retailers is also good. They’re definitely better than some other big brands at samples & GWP.
