@JoSometimes I've almost bought that Etude House balm several times, along with the corresponding hydrating/soothing toner. This reminds me to test it against COSRX's Pure Fit Cica creams (my skin loves the "Intense" version). Glad you got a good deal on a product your skin loves!

And I hope you can make that CC cream work for you at some point. Reminds me of the time I bought a national brand's body lotion without realizing it contained glitter. 🤦‍♀️ I don't wanna full-body twinkle in direct light every day. 😂

@sister13 The shimmer caught me off guard the first time I applied it. I recall there was no glitter detectable when I pumped it into my hand, so when I rubbed it on my legs I thought I was seeing things. 🤣 Then I wondered if I'd touched something glittery before using that lotion. It didn't make me a disco ball but the shimmer was noticeable. I wish I could remember which lotion it was... not Neutrogena, but definitely a national brand you'd find at Target. It was a few years ago so, I wouldn't be surprised if that lotion's discontinued by now. Funny how many shimmery body oils are now on the market. 🙃

That’s so funny! I love a good glittery shimmer body lotion. I’m all about that sparkle, lol! @WinglessOne The Sunday Riley Fairy Godmother is one of my faves, the shimmer stays on forever!

I was wondering if COSRX had a similar product in their lineup. Thank you for the tip @WinglessOne! I hope you do get to trying Etude’s version some day.

And I’ve been wearing dark long sleeves to hide my flare up at work. It wouldn’t be a stretch to hide the shimmer too and let the vitamin c do its job. Hopefully I can get my skin back in order before summer’s over so I can take advantage of the shimmer. 🤞

@JoSometimes If your skin responds well to centella asiatica, I highly recommend COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum. I see the brand has raised prices of the entire Pure Fit line (probably all their other products too) since my last restock, but some of those products are worth it. The serum and both creams are loaded with several cica components. As long as COSRX doesn’t reformulate it for worse (like It’s Skin did to a former favorite serum), I’ll keep buying it.

I’m so glad you’re part of this community @WinglessOne! You got a wealth of knowledge of both key ingredients and what products to find them in. I will definitely be on the look out for that serum. Everything I’ve tried from them has been good to me so far.
