Please share your hauls for this month. Happy Birthday to all the March babies and Happy International Women’s Day (March 8th).
Great products. Golden Hour looks so good in that swatch @WinglessOne
@WinglessOne Nice purchases. I really enjoy the balm, so your description of the blush has me wanting to try it out. It is awesome that you picked out some different shades to add to your collection.
Thanks @Mellmars1185 ! I think you'll like the blush. 🙂
Thank you for the product breakdown @WinglessOne those are very pretty looking swatches.
I heard dryer skin types had more issues with the blurring balm? But that was just from reading large amount of reviews.
I want to try the colorful version of this palette 🎨 sooo much! I haven't pulled the trigger on the purchase but I'm trying to do a low buy this month ( we'll see how that goes 😅) hopefully more successfully than I did last month.
Enjoy your samples ( ooooh Guerlain!) And have fun with the new items!
Thanks @CynthieLu ! I have mostly-dry combo skin: oily on and around my nose, kinda "normal"/balanced on my forehead though it leans dry in winter, and dry skin everywhere else. Danessa's Yummy Skin balm contains a highly absorbent ingredient called Upsalite that mops up excess oil, so it works very well on my oily zone. Also works well on my sweaty forehead. I've worn Golden Hour for about 4 hours now on my dry cheek and it hasn't caused any dry patches or other issues. Of course, other folks with dry or mostly-dry combo skin might have a different experience. The balm seems to play nice with my skin, though.
Good luck with your low-buy! I tend to fail miserably at them 🤦♀️ even when I force myself to stay out of certain product category threads on BIC. (I haven't posted in the masks thread in at least a year because I'm still trying to use up most of my sheet masks without buying lots of new ones.) Hope your willpower is stronger than mine!
Oh, and that Guerlain sample... it's GUERLAIN Abeille Royale Anti-Aging Double R Advanced Serum which is probably overpriced at $175 USD per ounce but hey, it's made of ~*special*~ honey that comes from ~*special*~ bees from a specific ~*special*~ region. 😂 Most of the samples I've been offered on Sephora orders lately haven't interested me at all, so I keep picking this one because I might actually use it and/or can easily give it to someone who'll like it. Might not use it on my face since it's fragranced, and I know how strongly Guerlain likes to fragrance things in general. So I'll try it elsewhere on my body.
I haven't done well at a low buy attempt yet either @WinglessOne but I'm very stubborn 😋 and I'm going to do it this month *I think I can I think I can*
I was lucky and got a trial of the universal blurring balm but I haven't given it any sort of test yet out of the home 😅 if I do end up really liking it it might enable a blush purchase.. my cheeks are dry and have all the pores so well see what happens.
I got a Guerlain sample once and it was soo pretty, it was a bottle with little gold flakes in it, ahhh but that was younger me who didn't read and analyze ingredients at all. I couldn't spend 175 US per ounce on that but I'd love to use a sample any time 😁 my skin loves fancy but my wallet does not live that life.
@WinglessOne Oooooo....those shades are so pretty on you 😍
Small primer haul. I am running low on my ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Secure the Blur Makeup Magnet Primer 1.18 oz/ 35 mL and I want to try a few different primers. I decided to try MAKE UP FOR EVER Mini Step 1 Primer Pore Minimizer Pore Minimizer . I also saw the other primer that has me intrigued Peter Thomas Roth Instant FIRMx® No-Filter Primer 1 oz / 30 mL as a GWP. I received all samples that I requested to my delight.
Also, my flash subscription expired last month and I have not placed an order for shipping. To my delight my order was shipped via Laser Ship and I received my order in a similar manner to flash shipping. Kudos Sephora!
The primers sound good @Loretta55 esp the PTR! I love when super fast shipping surprises us! (Good lippie color! 😊) 💞
Thank you very much @Sunnysmom. I was scared that my order was shipping via USPS and that it would take awhile to reach me now that my flash subscription expired.
@Loretta55 You've gotta give your thoughts on the MUFE primer. I've been eyeing it.
