China town. Dont remember the name..just asked while we were down there-Where the best food was.  They roll them up & cook them all in a line at the side but front of the restaurant....so yummy. Like, get on a plane in the morning, no luggage just go to china town & come home that evening good. Not even playing me & the hubs actually talked about doing this. @Guessgal

It was really cool when i went. We were only there for the weekend but did soooo much stuff. Walked 10k steps a day. And took ubers/subway. It was February 2019, During the chinese new year so we got to see all the dancing dragons....so awesome🐲not to mention its really chinese/Korean town so stores just selling skincare. @Guessgal

Oh!! I remember getting that email about the PMG event in NYC! At the time, the FOMO was real and I wanted to book a flight just for this event (I’m in Canada) hahahha 😄 super cool that you got to meet her! 💛 @hersheykisseslv 

Side note, howcome you felt ND Sunset isn’t worth the hype? I haven’t dug into mine yet so I’m super curious!

The Sunset palette is beautiful, but I was not wowed by the shades and the formula of the shadows did not blow me away. I love my Lila palette, but that might be because I a partial to pinks and purples as well as cool-toned plummy shades. I had the Colourpop Yes! Please palette and I felt like the palette was comparable. I ended up buying Sunset and giving it to my friend; I wish I had just kept that and not purchased it.

The PMG team hosted a giveaway in NYC. There were a bunch of people present. It was set up in a way where you met Mother and took a picture with her then you went up to grab your palette. The next person is let in and you exit. A long-winded answer for no lol.

That is so cool that Mother gifted you a DR1 @hersheykisseslv . I really wish that I purchased a back up of Viseart Theory Minx. That is my go to palette if I am short on time. I think that some of my credit cards are actually larger than that palette.

@lmaster I had a good laugh at your "not worth the hype" answer 😄 I feel like that brand has waves of being hyped up then it dies down just as fast. Odd.
