Eyelids for no makeup makeup look

Hello beautiful ladies,

What do you guys use on your eyelids for no makeup make up look? I do see a lot of YouTubers that their eyelids match with their foundation, but in my case I have darker eyelids than my cheeks. If I use bb or cc on rest of my face and apply matte skin colour eyeshadow it doesn’t give me same affect as others. What do you guys recommend?

@niddy usually I’ll just apply a shadow the same shade as my lids to clean up and even them out and then use a slightly greyer tone to create a little subtle definition to my eyes.

Have you tried using an eyeshadow primer under your eyeshadow? It changes everything...

Use a full coverage concealer that is your skin tone. Not to much or it will blend onto the rest of your face. If so, just wipe the access away and blend the edges with a clean brush or sponge. And set with a translucent powder. If you want to something more to the look, add some bronzer in the crease.

I use the PERRICONE MD - No Eyeshadow Eyeshadows since it has light coverage and some skincare properties to it. Another similar product is the  Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment Moonlight , which comes in three shades instead of just one like the Perricone.

Hi @niddy,

I have pigmented eyelids, so it looks like I wear eyeshadow everyday (I don't!). I use an eyeshadow primer to even out my eyelids. My favorite is the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Original .

@niddy I'd make the same recommendation as @lmaster . I have veins and a dark freckle on my eyelids, and I use concealer to make my eyelids even with the rest of my skin. It also doubles as an eyeshadow base, which eliminates the need for primer (in most cases).
