Years of points gone

I've been a customer at Sephora for years and haven't bought much in the last year. I've 2 young kids and haven't been buying much outside of the basics. I didn't receive any warning of expired points, didn't even realize points expire and lost 7000+ points.  I'm very disappointed in Sephora. I logged in to pick something for my birthday and I couldn't believe it when I saw all my points were gone.

@missymek, I'm sorry to hear this. Beauty Bank points will only expire after 12 consecutive months of no activity on a Beauty Insider account. Activity is considered redeeming a Rewards Bazaar item, claiming your Beauty Insider birthday gift, or simply making a purchase on Sephora.com while logged into your account or at any Sephora location within the US or Canada and providing your Beauty Insider account information at checkout.
