Sephora inside JCPenney's scent voucher help

Hi a few years ago I received a Christmas gift with the sampler set in a voucher for free perfume. However, it was bought from Sephora inside JCPenney's and they no longer exist. I went there a few times but they did not have the scent that I really wanted. I'm sad cuz I went inside Sephora so redeem the voucher but they told me that they couldn't help me that I would need to contact JCPenney's to see if there's anything that they can do for me. Is there anyone that could help me figure out if I am still able to redeem this voucher even though Sephora's don't exist inside JCPenney's anymore.

Did you ever get it figured out because I have the same exact problem and wondering what can be done about it. They should do something about it lol there isn't even an expiration date on the dang voucher.

I am also in a similar situation sitting on an older voucher I can’t seem to successfully use. I hope you were able to get a good resolution.
