Samples

Was in Sephora the other day, and asked for a sample of a perfume, and was told no. Which got me thinking. 
When I order things online, I’m given a handful of samples to choose from, to get with my order. 
I spent 400 in-store, and not one little sample offered. WHY

If I buy things at lush, they give you samples to take home. Go to shoppers, they’re dropping samples by the handful. 
I guess I’m just wondering why samples are being offered when ordering online, but not in-store

@JennMac001  you are lucky if you have been receiving samples when you order on line. 

I have placed several orders on line and not once have I received the samples I pick. 

It's disappointing that people spend alot of money at Sephora and receive nothing as a small thank you  : (
