Problems with online orders

I ordered some product along with a gift card for my daughter for Christmas.  It said it would be here by the 24th/25th.  The product arrived but no gift card.  I tracked the order and it says โ€œestimated delivery date is the 27thโ€.  I would never had ordered a GC knowing it would arrive after the holiday.  It never said that it was an โ€œestimated delivery date of the 24th/25thโ€, it said it would be here by then.  They wonโ€™t cancel my order or allow me to return it.  I had to purchase another one at a store.  Iโ€™m really unhappy about this.  Does anyone have any suggestions or had a similar issue?  They didnโ€™t even try to offer a solution or any form of concession!
