Order partially shipped?

My order says partial shipment. Can someone help me and tell me what this means. This has never happened to me before. Thanks in advance.

I am going to look into your order and send you a message shortly.  Partial shipment also means part of the order was fulfilled at our warehouse and that the other items are currently processing.
