Missing points..

I didn't realize it at first, but I bought a Pat McGrath palette when they had their bonus 500 points for a $75+ purchase this weekend. I noticed the signage when I left the store and the employee that handed me my receipt gave me the little flyer saying I received the 500 points. I didn't think much of it because the flyer said that they would send an email within 24hrs with details/the points would be added. 

 

They weren't. 

 

It might not be a big deal to some people, but 500 points for me pushes me into rouge status so I was pretty excited about it. I checked the next day and they weren't added still. I chatted on the live support feature and the person assured me they would be added within 24hrs from when the two of us chatted. 

 

They weren't. Still.

 

Fast forward to today and I am back on live support and they are telling me that they can see the points haven't been added yet and that they will manually do it and that it will take 24hrs to update...

 

Should I trust this final 24hrs..??

 

Regardless, I feel like it isn't right to tell people that you're going to receive bonus beauty insider points and that they will be delivered in a specific time window and then force customers to keep bombarding customer support with questions over it. Even if these points do actually appear I will be upset at the fact that it took several days of pestering to get them. 

 

I'm almost positive that this has happened to me before and I never questioned anyone about it and I just...never got the points..

 

Anyone else having a similar problem?

I am also missing my points. I made purchases to make sure I got Rouge. When I looked I’m still VIB status.

@Dani258 It can take up to 24 hours for the extra points to be added from a points promotion. The points do not count towards your status, as that is based on your year to date spend total. I will be happy to look into this for you and will send you a PM.
