Item became out of stock after I purchased and received order confirmation

I just bought an item on the Sephora app and my payment went through and I received a confirmation email on my order I went back to the app and seen the item I bought is out of stock now Iโ€™m worried I wonโ€™t be able to receive my order bc it was lagging on how much inventory there was on my item or I just happened to take the last one.๐Ÿ˜ญ

@marss9 It is likely that you were able to snag one of the few remaining items. If there is any issue fulfilling your order, you will receive an email letting you know. Otherwise, you can expect to receive it.

Will I expect an email even though my purchase went through and itโ€™s processing? How long will that take for them to email me canceling my order if itโ€™s not in stock?

@marss9 You would likely receive an email within 1-2 business days. Otherwise you will receive an email with the tracking information.
