Expired points

I am so disappointed. I logged into my account today to make a purchase and noticed that all my points were gone because they *expired*. I know of sephoras *ridiculous* policy, that after 12 months of inactivity they expire, so on December 31, 2021 I made a purchase before midnight (PST) thinking they were safe. The next time I logged in they were gone. Throughout the pandemic stores were closed & because of masks, I honestly wasn’t wearing or buying as many makeup products.

Why shop at a place like Sephora if they don’t value their customers?

Same. Due to travel restrictions, I was out of the country. I was totally surprised and irritated to see 1300+ points I earned just gone. I emailed customer service but so far no reply. Every other loyalty program extended their rewards programs and benefits... I don't understand why Sephora chose to ignore there was a pandemic happening.

I had the same issue! I’m sad about it because I had 2300+ points saved up. I didn’t know they were expiring or would have redeemed them. I was saving them to get nice stuff after having a baby. Only recently learned of the expiry during Christmas when I went to buy a gift and was told I couldn’t redeem them for the 250 point items since I didn’t have enough. I had gone in during my birthday to get the freebie but they didn’t have any left and I thought I’d try one closer to my house but never got a chance.
