Continuously Receiving the Wrong Samples

Almost every single order that I've ever placed I've gotten samples that I did not request. I understood that substitutes would be used if my samples weren't available so I chalked it up to Sephora's distribution center not having my specific ones. HOWEVER, I came across so many other people complaining about not receiving their requested samples as well, and I understand that it may differ from one distribution center to the other, but if you have an idea of where the products will be shipping from, then why don't you have a pick-list of things available at THAT specific center?

I thought it was normal to receive wrong samples, as that's what I have been gettin since the very start, BUT I placed an order in Canada once because I was vacationing. Fully expected none of the samples I requested to be sent to me but I surprisingly received all the ones that I requested. I'm assuming it's the botch/rushed job of whoever is packing orders together, because it seriously seems like they just throw three samples in there with no regard to what you requested.

Complaining about samples is really stupid, I know, since they're free and are totally not necessary. However, they are a waste if what I'm being sent is not going to be used and it's also wasted potential revenue, as I'm sure many people request for specific samples to try products they're interested in before they commit to purchasing them. 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this system. It's not benefiting anyone.

Ditto to that. Very inconsistent sample inclusion. My recent order was also without promised samples.

I agree. I have yet to receive a sample I have requested. I am frustrated to with the store, asking for samples there is a joke as well.

This happens to me every single order as well. Just stop offering the option for us to select specific ones and just put in the option yes or no do you want samples.
