Welcome to the Spring Cheek Challenge!!!  I'm looking for that seasonal refresh.  For the first SPRING Cheek challenge, (I know right.. How is this the first...I couldn't get past IYKYK, "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking."), I want you to look towards personal moments and icons (person, celebrity, objects) for inspiration.    Look to the Gawds, dahhhhhlings.   And zhuzh it up with an outfit, or hair accessory or anything you think that's relevant.  I've declared this the "year of using my pretty things, " and I'm inviting you to join me!

A week late, but my Sunday Best

For Sunday Best, I tried a lifted cheek look, with the blush being a combination of the new DIOR Rosy Glow Blush Stick 012 Rosewood  (underpainting), Saie SuperSuede™ Talc-Free Powder Blush Mia  (not pictured), and the long discontinued Dior Blush - 950 Framboise/Raspberry. 

To get a more lifted look, I started the blush shade higher up along my cheekbone and used a mix of the following bronzer shades to bronze and contour -  #MAKEUP BY MARIO SoftSculpt® Cream Contour & Bronzer Stick Light Medium along with SEPHORA COLLECTION Microsmooth Multi-Tasking Baked Face Powder Foundation 65 Toffee  (similar to Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder 100 sunkissed sand ) and SEPHORA COLLECTION Microsmooth Multi-Tasking Baked Face Powder Foundation 60 Ebony .

MOOD/INSPO: I took "Sunday Best" to mean something you would wear to church, for a spring holiday event, or the like. I built this mostly around a new See By Chloe blouse I just got on Poshmark (center), and used slightly deeper tones similar to Pantone Peach Taffy (top left) like Jones Road Just A Sec Eyeshadow in Golden Peach, Eloise Blush in Bloom (bottom left) and Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick Peachy Nude  .

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI), a big shoutout to some of the most dependable products in my collection all by Patrick Ta, including  PATRICK TA Major Skin Hydra-Luxe Luminous Skin Perfecting Foundation For Natural Glow 4 Golden  , PATRICK TA Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette , and PATRICK TA Major Brow Defining Pencil  .

Compilation of my Mocha Mousse week. I forgot to write down what I used each day but I used a couple of PATRICK TA Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo  and MAC Glow play blushes. I need an extra week to go through all of the blushes I have in these tones, it's a favorite.

I need to get a deeper concealer....

I got bangs on Friday. Let me know any styling tips you may have, they're a work in progress lol
