Hello I’m quite young and I need tips let me tel you about my hair first. My hair is straight at the ends it’s dead due to my mom always straightening it and curl pattern disappears like when it’s gone it’s low prosity it’s heat damaged and dry in early June my mom forced me to perm my roots but it’s like more than my roots my top of my head is so flat straight the front prices a pin straight now there’s so much going on and I hate it I think my original hair type is maybe in the 3’s currently it’s between 1a 2c due to the damaged sadly my hair is not naturally straight and if this helps I’m not sure I’m Puerto Rican and black

since your hair is damaged, i'd recommend starting with a heat-protectant first before styling with hot tools. my go-to (i have wavy hair) is the agave dry hair protectant spray for 28 dollars. personally, i don't use any tools to style my hair, but best of luck on your hair journey! 🙂
