Welcome to the Spring Cheek Challenge!!!  I'm looking for that seasonal refresh.  For the first SPRING Cheek challenge, (I know right.. How is this the first...I couldn't get past IYKYK, "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking."), I want you to look towards personal moments and icons (person, celebrity, objects) for inspiration.    Look to the Gawds, dahhhhhlings.   And zhuzh it up with an outfit, or hair accessory or anything you think that's relevant.  I've declared this the "year of using my pretty things, " and I'm inviting you to join me!

For my Meet Me in Miami blush, I used Saie Dew Blush Liquid Cream Blush Chilly  .  It reminds me of the pink in the sunset pic in the Miami collage.

Blush Crush

So I was enjoying some new blushes this week.  I bought these last fall, but never played with them before now 

 This is MAKEUP BY MARIO Soft Pop Powder Blush   in Mellow Mauve.  I used a Sigma blush brush to apply it.  It is very soft and smooth.  No patchy areas either.  Stayed on all day using #Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Spray 

 And this is HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Color Fuse Talc-Free Blush Powder With Fermented Arnica   in French Rosette.  Again using a Sigma blush brush.  The powder is very smooth and light.  It applied without any patchy areas. It blends out nicely.  This also stayed on all day using Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. 

 Well as you can see, Miss Clairol and I need to get together! 😉.   Anyway, this is MAC matte powder blush in Mocha. I really like it.  I’m not used to wearing a little darker shade, but this one I like.  It’s very smooth and applied very nicely.  No patchiness using one of my Sigma blush brushes.  Again lasting all day with the same setting spray.
