How’s This Work?:

• Go through your stash, shop it, for one or more product(s) you want to spend time using this spring, or what remains of it 
• Reply to this original post (OP) with a list and/or picture of the product(s). If an item is available through Sephora, tag the product using the hashtag (#) symbol followed by the product or brand name.
• Check back in with your progress as often (or as infrequently) as you like - it could be weekly, every other week, or at or around the end of the season. Last official day of spring 2025 is June 19.

🌻Shop Your Stash Spring 2025 items🌻:

Here's the items I came up with for my Spring 2025 Shop Your Stash Challenge!

• 1 complexion product that's an old favorite: IT Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow Lightweight Foundation + Glow Serum with SPF 40 and Niacinamide Fair Porc... - this was my favorite BB/CC cream for a while, but I haven't used it recently as I've been focused on newer-to-me products. My goal is to see if it's still as good as I remember it being, and how it compares to the other base products I've been using. I'm also almost done with this tube, so I'd like to try and finish it up (hopefully by the end of spring?).
• 2 mascaras that I'm still trying out (only used each once so far, I think): Charlotte Tilbury Exagger-eyes Volumizing and Curling Mascara Exagger-black & Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Lengthening Mascara - my goal is to thoroughly trial them both out and see how I like them.
• 2 hair shine/glossing treatments, one that I've used before and one that I haven't tried yet: dae Stargloss Shine Hair Gloss Treatment 6 oz / 177 ml - this one hasn't really impressed me so far, so my goal is to give it one last shot to see if I can make it work for me, and failing that, hopefully finish it up and move on; & Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) High-Shine Gloss Hair Treatment - this one has been in my stash a while but I haven't tried it yet, so I'd like to finally get to it and give it a fair trial to see how I like it.
• 3 perfume samples I'd like to test out: DIOR Miss Dior Eau de Parfum (sample), DIOR Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet (mini) & DIOR Miss Dior Rose N'Roses Eau de Toilette (mini) - I've tried Miss Dior EDP once so far, but haven't tried the other two yet; my goal for all three is to give each a good couple of wear tests to see how I like them, and to see if I might want the full size of any of them. I think they will all be nice spring scents.

I'll do my best to check in periodically (no promises exactly how often 😅) throughout the rest of the spring, with a final check-in around June 19th!

@caitbird, these are fabulous choices! Ahhh, the Miss Dior mini’s are super cute!! They will make lovely spring scents. You could also see if layering them gives you a scent you enjoy, but that may add to your already amazing fragrance collection!!

I love the idea of including mascara - a season is a good duration of time for something like that - I have a lot of mascara waiting to be used and you’ve inspired me for next season’s shop my stash. 😊 

btw, check in as you have time. I’ll probably check in with the lash serum at the halfway point and the end, and the rest at the end. Feels easier to do but with the serum, it may help to see progress (if any).

@itsfi  love this idea! I'll have to brainstorm what items in my stash to include for this challenge - I definitely have a ton of products that I'd love to get more use out of!

Yaaay, go shop your stash @caitbird!! I feel like doing something like this on a season by season basis can make it feel less daunting and less of a commitment. It’s a few months (or even less than that starting out with this one). Also a good way for folks to see if a future pan project might be for them as well as which types of products might be best. And, of course, it can help with making our way through our stuff in a fun way.

I don't know about you, but I have a lot of products I've been meaning to try - not to pan necessarily, but just to use and cycle through, some of which are best suited for a particular time of year, and others of which I just really need to put to use. After shopping my stash, I came up with these beauties to work my way through for what is left of spring.

Sephora Favorites Fruits & Flowers Travel Spray Perfume Discovery Set w/ Redeemable Voucher - I've been meaning to try these out since picking it up during the savings event. I have the Jo Malone in a full size already so that leaves 7 fragrances in this set I have yet to use. There's about 7 weeks left of spring so it works out perfectly. My goal is to use these a few times and to figure out which to redeem with the included voucher when summer rolls around. This could work out really well as I will (hopefully) be fully engaged in a no spend / low buy by then. With the voucher, I'm not really spending anything I haven't already so I'd still be within my haul hibernation while still being able to pick up a travel size perfume.

I purchased this SWEED Eyelash Growth Serum last year but just haven't gotten around to using it. Based on the instructions, I should see results in approximately 4-6 weeks so now seems like as good a time as any to start. Hopefully, including it in this challenge will give me some motivation ... and accountability. 

I love the MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Skin Face Essentials – Longwear Full Face Cream Palette - it's such a versatile product. My including it in this challenge is so that I can get more use of it. I don't plan on using this exclusively but reaching for it more often would be great!

Augustinus Bader The Skin Infusion Treatment Set is another one of those beauty products I've been meaning to put to use but keep putting it off. This needs to be put to the test, and this challenge seems like the great platform to give it a go. 

Ordinarily, I'd probably do more frequent check-ins but for this spring challenge (I'll get to a better start on it next season), I may just check in with progress halfway through the 7 remaining weeks of spring and at/near the end of the season.

Looking forward to seeing what others find in their stash to put to use this spring!

btw your little mini shopping carts and shopping basket are so cute! 😍 Can I ask where you got them?

@caitbird, it’ll be fun to go through the sampler set. Some I’ll wear weekly; others I may compare with others I have or with another one from the kit. The basket was from a gift basket; the carts were part of a work conference swag but you can find them on amazon in different colors/metals.
