I know we have threads dedicated to specific beauty brands but I didnโt really see one dedicated or updated for all things Trader Joeโs. It could be beauty, skincare, haircare, household or grocery items. Post your finds here so others could be on a lookout of what to find or is newly released at their local store. It could also be something you think people should try. Their beauty section is so underrated and most people donโt even know they have a beauty aisle. Their candles and seasonal items are amazing and they always have unique snacks.
@SportyGirly125 I love the apple cider fruit spread!!! and the apple cider donuts especially when they have been nuked in the microwave for a few seconds about 10-15. it makes them them warm and toasty and soft. I have yet to try the other items you posted. but the pumpkin ginger hold the cone looks like it might been be in my future. another really good item that came and went already for the season was the maple butter. I really wish I had stocked up on that. by the time I opened the jar i bought at home which was really soon after i bought it, it was already done for the season/sold out until next year.
@WhereYouStand that's so good to know. I have so much more I have to try before they take it off the shelves for the year.
@danielledanielle I want to put that in homemade cinnamon rolls. That looks so divine.
@danielledanielle Welp, guess I will be going to Trader Joe's tomorrow after all. ๐ This has to be healthier somehow than cookie butter, right? I'd ask if it's good but that'd be a rhetorical question.
Hopefully I'll hit my closest TJ's during its lowest foot traffic, so I'll have the store mostly to myselfโso I can quickly buy all of the things.
@WinglessOne , Oh, totally healthier than cookie butter๐. Just put it on some whole grains and you're good to go.
(After all, I'm a nutritionist)
Pumpkins have arrived at my Trader Joeโs:
Along with some more seasonal treats, most are new to me.
The caramel apple flavored granola is delish. So happy they brought it back. ๐
Oh good grief what yummy stuff @itsfi , just saw this thread again. My family has had Kringle for many years as holiday tradition and @Ispend2much6 told me other year that TJs had it!! Happy days! ( ooh that raspberry and almond...). Have to try that granola too. ๐
@Sunnysmom, Kringle as a holiday tradition is marvelous! I may have to introduce that as a new tradition in my family. Iโve turned my niece and dad onto the Kringle this year - suuuuure, theyโre 2 of the easiest members to hook with new yummy food, but still!! ๐ Most of the time, Iโll sprinkle a little granola over yogurt for breakfast/snack, but Iโve been known to just eat these two in particular by the handfuls. ๐
We usually send a Kringle or 2 to our family members @itsfi and we all love the memory of them plus arenโt they so good heated up?! Oh my stars ๐คฉ. I have to go find that granola if they still have it!
@itsfi Ooo your Trader has such a cute display.
It was fun to see @Anastasiya13! ๐ This is the area in the back where the store would give out samples, pre-Covid. I like how theyโve repurposed the space.
@itsfi Thats smart of them to do, and looks very nice.
@itsfi Are the maple almonds good? Not quite my jam but it sounds like something that my mother would LOVE and I'd totally pick some up and take to her.
@CookieGirl1, I picked up the maple almonds for my dad. He seems to like them, and my mom too. I tried a couple when I dropped off some groceries for them and think theyโre just okay. Itโs not what I would describe as sweet, and I like that. I do pick up a slight maple taste to them. Itโs detectable but not over the top.
@itsfi This pic is so good. Itโs gives me comfy cozy Fall vibes-sweater weather.
@SportyGirly125 @itsfi I feel ashamed because I live in a major, major city, yet I've never stepped foot into a Trader Joes.
I know that it's a grocery store, but is it a completely organic store like Whole Foods? Is it more budget friendly than Whole Foods or the same price?
@Anonymous, echoing what @SportyGirly125 posted. The vast majority of products at TJโs is less expensive than WFs, though WFs offers more variety/brand. WF had a bulk section and that was a lot more budget friendly but I believe thatโs been suspended as a result of Covid, as has its other self service options (hot foods, salad bar, etc). WFs also has a deli and bakery in its stores; TJ does not.
