I bought both blushes and I am probably around an NC30 in MAC and asian. I found both to swatch very pigmented - I needed to use a light hand with my brush. They are both very beautiful. Hope this helps!
I quite like the cherry blossom blush. Not sure I'm in love with the eyeshadows, though.
That plum shade in Jardins Eclatants is so beautiful! I think the other shades may be too cool for me, though. I also wish Chanel would do more matte quads.
😞
Agree with you on both fronts, @Tamara76. There seems to be an abundance of shimmering palettes lately. I'm still over the moon with the matte Rouge No 1 palette.
Mine, too!! Between Chanel's No 1 Rouge palette and Tom Ford's Eye and Cheek palette in Warm, I feel very spoiled.
I'm also loving that one (along with the Tweed Coralline blush). I've bought so many things from Chanel lately that I shouldn't even be considering these....but they're just so pretty!
So just wanted to update on my camelia situation. I was one of the people that had a problem with an empty box being sent (at least that was the UPS status). They actually did resend it once they got more in stock (or maybe they had some reserved), so everything worked out in the end. 🙂 I had spoken with several representatives on the phone, so I'm happy someone was able to help me out.
I had the same outcome. One of the CS folks on the phone was very helpful.
Yay! I am so glad it worked out for you! The empty box was a bummer! 😞
That's great!
@TraceyEB I love this highlighter!
It is very sparkly, but that is why I love it. It feels creamy too, not dry. HMM.
I think if you have texture issues and or don't like a strong hl, it is a skip. But it is gorgeous!!!
I think on deeper skin tones the glitter comes out more. 🙂
Thanks sooo much for your observations, @luvgloss13! Great to hear that it's creamy and bright (and that you don't find it too glittery). It is a beautiful highlighter, for sure!!
@TraceyEB . YW 🙂
I think makeup, like shoes is soooo YMMV.
I wish people could swatch and try it for themselves and not rely on Chanel direct and not being able to return if they hate it.
I also disliked the tweed blushes, they were hard and stiff with very poor color pay off. But I am sure someone loves them. lol
