@Sunnysmom, you're lucky to have a Chanel boutique with beautiful natural light. I love your choices and your restraint! I hope you enjoy the medium rose palette and quartz fume! I'm going to a Chanel counter tomorrow to put in my pre-order and I hope to see the Les Beiges Glow palettes in person (though they don't officially launch in Canada until May 1). I'm thinking about 1-2 single eyeshadows and like the look of Brun Fauve and maybe the lime green eyeshadow. I also love the Talpa shade from the original release, so happy there's an updated replacement! I'd probably buy more of the Les Beiges Glow if the compacts were smaller and would have preferred a range of blush/highlighter duos because Chanel bronzer shades don't suit me well (the closest is the cream blush in shade 20). Will connect back after I've been to the counter! ☀️

@TraceyEB @Sunnysmom  My SA forgot to ring me up. Now I wonder should I give her a nudge or just pull out the TF Soleil one. 😂🤣 I have 3 of the TF Soleil. They all look spanking new as I check today. Hoard but don’t used seems liked. 😂🤣 Honestly the glow face palettes all look lovely. It’s really hard to chose

@blackkitty2014, you have 3 barely used TF Soleil Contour palettes?! I've been working on The Afternooner palette for years because those palettes have almost 21g of product (the Chanel XL palettes have 15g). On the other hand, the TF Soleil bronzer and blush is a matte formula vs. Chanel's glowy formula. The Chanel palettes look a little different on every skin tone, so I vacillate between palettes. Decisions, decisions! 😂

So I looked again @TraceyEB . This time with everything open up. I have 2 TF Soleil palette and 1 eye face palettes called Pink Glow and probably another one with the blue (forgot what it called and (not sure if you remember them😂). But the Afternooner reminds me of Medium Coral so Medium Coral should be out of my wish list 😘

@blackkitty2014 @Sunnysmom, I'm back from a visit to the Chanel counter. I pre-ordered the Medium Rose Gold and the Deep Mauve palettes. When I swatched the blush in the Deep Mauve palette, I gasped at how pigmented it was - a stunning raspberry shade. Below is a picture of me wearing the raspberry shade high on the cheekbone over Rose Polaire blush. Forgive me that I applied and blended it with my hands. My SA said the middle shade could be worn as an eyeshadow. She also agreed that TF's The Afternooner palette would be duplicated by the Medium Coral palette. I only wish the compacts were small like the testers - I would have purchased three!

Oh how fun @TraceyEB , yay! Sounds like you had a fun experience! It looks beautiful and uplifting on you! That is a terrific idea to use the center as a shadow!! Uh oh. I would really to have Deep Mauve bec I just loved the raspberry shade too! Sooo pigmented and satiny! Def a decision to think about! So don’t give me too much credit yet! 🥺😆  I wish they were smaller too. I think these could be permanent items or maybe revamp them a bit/ smaller compact size.

Aren’t the shadows fun?! So buttery! I would kind of like to have the dark Noir grey black for fun. 🙃 The mascaras are pretty wild. Not for me but cool. Did your SA also mention details on the new lips in 31 Le Rouge coming next month? Mine threw out that bone as I was leaving!! 🤣😭 New shades in a more matte formula I guess! Always something…!! Enjoy your new goodies when they arrive! 🥰

Oh man @blackkitty2014 ! She forgot?! I went through my stash yesterday too in a true effort to weed some old stuff out and remind myself to use some favorites. I know we all have bought a lot of beauties. Plus they’re ginormous for the most part! I don’t have the TF you do but I am guilty of having several Chanel! Will be fun to hear what you decide! ☺️

@blackkitty2014, ha ha! I was a complete no as well but am curious about 236 and 240. I don't reach for single eyeshadows as often as I should, and especially not pastel shades, so exercising restraint here.
