Hello there, ladies and gents!
Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:
"What's on your plate?"
The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!
For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.
Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.
For lunch today, I had:
-Brown rice
-Steamed egg
-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper
-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Hey!! This seems fun so I’ll give it a shot. This morning I had a homemade açaí bowl with mango and chia seeds as the topping. I rate it an 10/10, tasted amazing. For lunch, I had a veggie burger because I had some in my freezer lol. I rate it a 8/10, tastes great but I prefer them fresh. For dinner I had soup and meatballs, an odd combo. Didn’t taste as I had hoped. 4/10, it was an odd experience.

of course!!! my recipe is like the Rainbow Sunshine’s (a website) recipe but a bit altered. 💕
for the smoothie itself (1 serving size)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup strawberries
- a little bit (1/4 cup) of blackberries or frozen mango chunks or both is okay to add too!! It’s optional though.
- 1 cup orange juice or coconut water or milk (I prefer orange juice)
toppings (optional, this is just for the overall aesthetic of the bowl ❤️)
- 1 sliced up banana spread out around the bowl (do the same thing with a strawberry)
- 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks arranged in any shape you like!!
- some chia seeds can be added on too, I use a teaspoon to evenly apply them!!

I definatley did enjoy reading it, the açaí bowl sounds really good, I’ve never had it before, mango sounds good, have you ever put coconut on it, I know from what I been told açaí is kind of sweet I may be wrong haha @vianaurr 🫶
Yes, the açaí bowl was definitely sweet. 🙂 no, I have never put coconut in it but I might put coconut water in it next time!!
4th of July dinner & dessert - veggie burger, corn on the cob, watermelon and jalapeno chips, & strawberry shortcake! It was delicious!
Yummy also good for pescatarians like me 💜
