THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

Iโ€™ve wanted to start this for so long but never got around to it. Back in the day I think I had a similar thread and I wanted to bring it back.

Do you love anything out of the norm: the strange, the unusual, and the mysterious? Anything relating to the supernatural, the paranormal and mystical? Then this thread is for you! A place to discuss anything and everything about the unknown, the occult, legends and theoriesโ€ฆ anything goes!

@mermadelove  Awwwwww ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@mermadelove Girl, I would have been so freaked out! But you're right.. I know that every time I feel someone is near me or near by, I either get a warm feeling or a really creepy, cold feeling. My mom told me when ever I feel that way - to just send out prayers for the entities to find their way.  I love hearing about everyones experiences with the unknown. It is so incredibly fascinating!!

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@kromance yes, exactly right Mom! My grandmere was the one who taught me so much about that stuff and she taught me the same thing. But I still donโ€™t love feeling the creepy ones. Lol!

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

That has happened to me a few times... It is creepy!!! I also hate when my dogs stare "into space" because I feel they are looking at something I can't see yet. ๐Ÿ˜„ @kromance

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@veronika23 OMG, my dog, Thunder does that ALL the time..in fact he did that yesterday when my husband wasn't home.  Literally stood in the Kitchen staring off into space. I bet they can sense entities/presence.  It is especially creepy when I'm home alone at night and he runs off into my study area and just stands there in the darkness...

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@kromance  eeeeeepppppp! I bet they do see!  I was able to as a kid... now if only I can get it back.... even though I'm terrified! ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@veronika23  I have heard that some kids have the ability to sense things that adults can't.  As children we are far more sensitive than we are as adults - perhaps thats why? Did you ever get scared when you were younger?

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@kromance  oh yeah kids are definitely more sensitive than adults.  Oh I was terrified as a child so I blocked it all out... if someone had explained to me what was going on things would be way different today. I'm still very sensitive just not the same...

freaking me out @kromance

freaking me out @kromance

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@kromance One time I was in bed and I felt someone touch my nose. I wear a sleep mask so I didnโ€™t see anyone but just assumed it was my son waking me up. But when I looked there wasnโ€™t anyone there. He was still asleep in his room. I was totally freaked out!

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

Freaky @faeriegirl!!! I've had a lot of weird things happen... usually resulting in me screaming my head off. ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

I would for sure trip out @faeriegirl.  So freaky!!!!

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@kromance So scary! I can imagine how creepy that was.

Best,
Rebecca

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

So what do you guys think of this???

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

Thought I would share with you. So I love all that supernatural stuff, horror movies, and psychological stuff, so imagine to my delight when I found an amazing school that had all of that plus more. I live in cali, and I found a school about an hour from me thats called CSUCI. It turns out it was a mental hospital that later turned into a school. Before school started I went up there to check out the campus and also turn in some paper work. My boyfriend and I ended up walking around and found some buildings that have no been renovated yet. In some of the pictures I captured orbs moving around, and you can even see since the pictures are a second apart, and I've also made sure my lens was clean. Its trippy to see how many areas had that, and just the vibe of the place. I also have many other stories from that place, but all i can say for now is that I did not like taking night time classes there.

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@Anastasiya13 So cool! Iโ€™ve read up a little about this place and itโ€™s hauntings that occurred back then and the experiences people are still having to this day!

Itโ€™s also rumored that the Eagles had stayed there and was where they got the inspiration for the song โ€œHotel Californiaโ€ โ€“ (read this on the internet somewhere, not sure how reliable the source was, but would be pretty cool if it was true!)

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

Internet fairy tale about Hotel California.

Don Felder wrote the song while sitting in his home in Malibu looking at the water and just toying around with his guitar when he came up with the opening chords.  He played around with them for a bit and ultimately had a piece that "was about thirty-two bars long, with a verse and a chorus--a sparkling little gem that fell out of the spectacular view before me."

In his auto-biography he goes on to talk about how he specifically was thinking about Don Henley's vocals and a massive three guitar part for himself, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh that would blow the audiences minds as he wrote and then recorded the song on his four-track in his living room.

Don Henley took the original concept and wrote the remainder of the lyrics around "the fantasy of California" and what you see as you drive towards LA on a dark night, and all of a sudden the city is twinkling in front of you.  He wrapped it around the fantasy of a traveler following their dreams who had never been to California and what they might be thinking as that valley opened up in front of them.

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@Shosh85This school really does have a lot of experiences, as you can see in some of my pictures, you can see the orbs move. Yes I heard that too from some teachers, and also that there were music videos recorded here such as by Nsync and other bands too.

Re: THE OTHERWORLDLY THREAD ๐Ÿ‘ฝโœจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™

@Anastasiya13 these are great pics!!
