Everyone has something they love to do or collect.  What's yours?

-I am a huge Sailor Moon fan and have a rather large collection, and still growing. I suppose I consider it both, a hobby and collecting

@itsfi yes 🥰 they sell it as loose leaf tea and also in tea bags, I have tea bags because I'm lazy and it's easier to use them, than the loose leaf one (I have troubles keeping the strainer clean).....😤

Hahaha @Skunk12puzzola! Tea bags are so convenient, aren't they? I was once gifted a box of empty tea bags, so you can fill it with loose leaf tea - it's a bit of work but it has helped me to work through my loose leaf teas. 

What kind of tea strainer do you use? I've found that English tea strainers like these ones to be the easiest ones to clean.

@Skunk12puzzola, thank you for letting me know. I saw your post before the edit - it was the strainer that looks like a mesh like ball attached to rods that are connected at the ends in what I can best described as resembling tongs. Wow, that's one way to butcher a description of a product, isn't it?!

There are certain restrictions on posting, including no outside links. I did see the photo and I've seen that type of strainer before - it looks very practical and I like that yours can be used in all different size mugs.

@itsfi I don't get why they kept your image from an external site, and not my link....I was just trying to have a convo about a tea strainer....😥 anyways, the strainer gets very dirty, and the pieces of tea get stacked in the mesh....so I stopped using it, and I use just tea bags now. Also I read that you can't give too many hearts in a short period of time/too many posts....so now I'm afraid to use the chat because I don't know if I'm doing something bad or not....

@Skunk12puzzola, not sure. It may be that the post did not include a link, but an image and that the image include an attribution to where it was from?

Giving hearts to people's post is a lovely thing to do. I'll try to explain how understand the hearts limitations as best I can, but I'm not super tech savvy so I may not be explaining it as accurately as I could. My understanding is that the limit on the number of hearts in a given time has something to do with trying to make sure it's not a robot that is giving the hearts. I don't recall the number of hearts that would trigger that notification but unless it's a lot of hearts in a short period of time, and I mean, A LOT, of hearts, then it probably wouldn't be an issue. If you do get the notification, you can just take a short break from BIC and from giving hearts, and either do something else on the Sephora website (browsing for lip balm, masks, nail polish, blush... 🤣) or something else altogether.

@itsfi ok thanks. Now I feel I have to walk on eggshells, because I'm afraid of doing something else wrongly....😥 I will limit my daily posts/hearts and never add a picture/link to my posts again, I will just describe the item instead...

@Skunk12puzzola What I do for pictures is take a screenshot of it instead of trying to copy the image.  You don’t have to limit your post or hearts unless you are doing a lot of them in a short amount of time. This is more related to the bot thing that itsfi was talking about. I post a lot and have never been flagged for how many posts I have done or the hearts I give out. It has to be a lot in a short amount of time and I mean a lot. I have been told by MODs about my post too a handful of times so please don’t let that discourage you from posting.

@SportyGirly125 thank you 😘 I'm always very severe with myself, and I felt like I made someone angry at me, or disappointed....I was like this even in school 🤣 almost cry cry when a teacher was upset at me or something else. Thank you for the support, when I saw the mod in my messages I got scared 😥 but it's nice to hear from someone so popular like you that they pointed out things even with you, it's somehow a relief, I'm not alone haha....thanks again. @darkiceis I collect pencils.  Last I knew, I had over 700 of them.  Now it's probably closer to 800.  The heyday for them for really in the mid 80s-early 90s.  It's hard to find cute ones these days.  My sister is living in Japan, and she sd she's been looking but hasn't found any.  I want to go back to Las Vegas (haven't been there since I was a poor college student!) just to buy as many as I can.  Of course, I'd probably go back and they'd have next to none now.

@quspork I wish I did!  In college I thought it would be fun to put them in a shadow box, but I didn't have the money.  I guess I could now, though - but I'd need so many boxes!

I don’t do a ton of collecting because of apartment living - just not a lot of space ! I am passionate about theatre so I save my playbills from shows I’ve been to! I wish I’d saved the ones from shows when I was younger, but I have the ones from adulthood

I also recently bought a record player so I’ve been collecting some records - there’s some cool record stores in nyc and some of the older ones are pretty cheap!
