Blergh.

I decided to try that sample of Amazing Cosmetics concealer I got in my order yesterday, and uh, I lasted exactly 3.5 hours before I had to wash it off my face (and then it took me 3 double cleanses to get it off).  It went on really thick and heavy, had a ton of sheen under my eyes (even after powdering to set) and creased horribly after half an hour of wear.  I can see it being great for people who need heavy coverage for blemishes, but it wasn't for me.

So this is what I looked like this morning, but it's slightly different now (changed blushes to Douceur and replaced with my NARS Concealer)

You are killing it with your looks this week! This no-makeup made up look, featuring sun-kissed radiant skin, apricot-pink eyes, and a summery pink lip is simply gorgeous on you! You look absolutely stunning! 🙂 BTW, the trick with the Amazing Concealer is that you have to use the teeniest tiniest amount and blend well - I use about a pinprick to do my under eyes on both sides, and a pinprick blended out is effective and doesn't crease or cake. But yes, if you use it like a regular concealer, and try to put a whole blob on to blend, that is disastrous! 😉

I will keep that in mind if I try it again.  I only used one tiny sponge dip of my baby beauty blender for both eyes, but I guess that was still too much.

Thank you hearts!  My husband's side of the family is very conservative, and I am always the colorful one, so sometimes I try to tone it down a few notches.

In family photos, you can immediately pick me out amidst a sea of black. 😉

Thank you, TKLJ!  It is one of my favorite recent purchases.

It is one of the velvet pencils, so it's matte, but it has the tiniest bit of shimmer in it, and makes me feel like I'm wearing fairy dust.

This is very much Model ON duty and I'm loving it! Your hair is brilliant and flops in all the right places, your complexion is as flawless and radiant as usual, and those eyes are loving the liquid liner wing, while the amethyst irises rock a bewitching vibe, and the inspired mashup on your lips is fiercely beautiful and vampirish!
