Thank you @keana1! This is only my second time using the main shade (maroon) and I think I've improved it from the first look I did with it. And yes, you're right - I find mixing colours at the edges really help make the look more cohesive. Took me a long time to figure that out!

Thank you @bakeamuffin @curlychiquita! It really was an unexpected pairing. Sometimes I have an idea for the eyes, but have no idea which lip colour goes with it! I guess this is part of the fun of makeup haha!

I didn't feel like using any brushes / sponges today or spending time blending so i only used products i could finger paint on my face 🙂 I've never used two primers at the same time but i really like how the Dr. Jartt looks on top of the BECCA.

Happy Friday, @scott1201!  I've never tried two primers. In fact, yesterday I forgot to use one :-O.  I used setting spray, though, so it turned out ok.

I'm not sure why they brand the Dr. Jart product as a primer - i've never used it under makeup and it seems to do a lot of legwork by itself. I do love the becca for brightening and waking up my skin. Seems to me that primers never really make my makeup last longer but they make me look more alive 😉 @curlychiquita

Soooooo, I've been critiquing my brows lately, and I'm just not happy with my pencil skills. Decided to go through my palettes last night and see if I could find a suitable taupe shadow to practice with powder instead (turns out I have exactly one palette with one shade that kinda sorta not really works...taupe is not my strong suit, if y'all haven't figured it out yet 😅), but all of a sudden I had an ah-ha fun thought!

I played with a dark blue and a dark purple last night, and really liked it. Not sure I'm digging on today's teal quite as much...I think at least I shouldn't have put it under my eyes too...but I'm gonna run with it anyways 😀

And what the heck... we're all friends here. This is how I feel about selfies 😛
