I was just being silly today. I have to write an article/blog thing about my melt cosmetics lippies, so I filmed a video for yt while I was at it.

Also, I officially want to burn my mac. 

While trying to get all of the footage and pics uploaded to my laptop, I checked the trash bin and realized a LOT of pics that i'd deleted months ago were still there.

May or may not have been of my ex....I may or may not have cried.

Anyways, I proceeded to delete the pictures......and then realized ALL OF MY PICTURES WERE GONE, even ones not in the trash bin.

Every picture and video for the last 2-3 years.........gone. Forever.

I seriously cried and kept repeating "i'm so upset" for about an hour.

I'm honestly contemplating buying a whole different laptop (Dell) for personal use, and just using the mac for work related things. It IS partially my fault for not having an external hard drive, but still, I never had anything like this happen with my old Dell (which bit the dust years ago.)

Hey don't use your Mac at all and do not copy anymore data onto the computer.  It is possible you can retrieve your photos.

The pictures are unfortunate, so so heartbreaking. I may have eight years of hard drives just because I have issues letting go of digital memories. WD Passport Ultra is your friend and is much easier to deal with than a new laptop.
